More LEGO Star Wars The Mandalorian Sets Officially Revealed Ahead of 2020 NYTF

LEGO is slowly revealing some of its new sets ahead of this year’s New York Toy Fair which will commence this weekend – and it looks like the Mandalorian and the Child (aka Baby Yoda) is getting an additional LEGO treatment. LEGO Shop@Home has now listed two new LEGO Star Wars the Mandalorian sets, including an earlier revealed BrickHeadz set dedicated to the duo.

Earlier this week, we saw the unintentional listing of Amazon Canada for a LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz The Mandalorian and the Child (75317), and this time around, LEGO finally confirms this as another entry in the growing number of BrickHeadz sets under the Star Wars theme.

Additionally, in a rather surprisingly welcomed move from LEGO, we can now expect a full LEGO set dedicated to the highly-rated Disney+ series – that includes the official LEGO Baby Yoda minifigure! The LEGO Star Wars  The Razor Crest (75292) is slated to be released in September – just a month early before Season 2 of The Mandalorian series streams on Disney+. For most LEGO fans of the miniseries, the obvious selling point will be the inclusion of the much-hyped Baby Yoda minifig. Strictly speaking, Disney execs and writers are quick to point out that “The Child” is not in any way the toddler representation of the Master Jedi himself, but since fans were so adamant in referring to it as such, then Disney somehow let it slide.

The LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz The Mandalorian and the Child (75317) comes in at 295 pieces and will retail for $19.99 once it is released on August 1. The LEGO Star Wars The Razor Crest (75292) clocks in at 1,023 pieces with a retail price of $129.99, slated to be released on September 1.

Read on for the full product description of these latest LEGO Star Wars The Mandalorian sets, and you also have the option of pre-ordering them at the LEGO Shop@Home portal. Just click on the following links for more info.

LEGO Ninjago Golden Zane Minifigure Accessory Set (40374) Now Up at LEGO Shop@Home

Other than a LEGO City-inspired minifig set, LEGO Ninjago is also getting another minifigure pack for 2020 and it looks like it will be a kind of shoutout to one of Ninjago’s previous seasons. The LEGO Ninjago Golden Zane Minifigure Accessory Set (40374) is now listed at LEGO Shop@Home and is slated to be released on March 1st as well.

This new minifigure set is inspired by Season 3 of LEGO Ninjago released back in 2014, and includes an exclusive Golden Zane minifig together with a trio of Nindroids. Though this particular season of Ninjago introduced us to our ninja’s mysterious golden power, it seems that only two of the main Ninjago characters – Lloyd (The Golden Dragon 70503 and 70666, Temple of Light 70505, LEGO Dimensions Lloyd Fun Pack 71239) and Kai (exclusive Bricktober 2017 Ninjago Minifigure Collection 5004938) – were given their official golden power minifigures. This latest minifigure offering now adds to a relatively rare collection of LEGO Ninjago Golden Power minifigs, so I would assume that this will be popular among collectors.

Read on for the full details of this new minifig set, and you may add this to your LEGO shopping wishlist so you won’t miss out on this one once it is available.

LEGO VIP Rewards Center Offers The Chance to Win a LEGO SDCC 2012 Shazam Minifigure

Here’s another treat from LEGO, and it looks like the LEGO VIP Rewards Center got more interesting. Following a rather indefinite hiatus, the revamped LEGO VIP Rewards Center was now updated to include several highly-prized LEGO exclusives that you may have likewise missed. As reported by Allen from The Brick Fan, the Rewards Center has now added a sweepstake where VIP members can have the chance to win an uber-exclusive LEGO SDCC 2012 Shazam Minifigure.

LEGO SDCC 2012 Shazam
The exclusive LEGO SDCC 2012 Shazam minifigure which was raffled away during San Diego Comic-Con 2012 will now be available as a reward item at the LEGO VIP Reward Center.

The mechanics are pretty simple. You use your LEGO VIP points to purchase raffle entries in order to join. Each raffle entry for this LEGO SDCC 2012 Shazam Minifigure will cost you 50 VIP points, while you are allowed to submit up to 15 entries to up your chances of winning.

Furthermore, this minifigure sweepstakes promo, according to the  LEGO Ambassador Network, will be a regular part of the LEGO VIP Rewards Center starting with the LEGO SDCC 2012 Shazam Minifigure. Other future minifigure raffles will include a signed Star Wars minifigure and an exclusive version of a Marvel character. Though I’m not really a fan of exclusive, event-specific LEGO releases, I just hope these future prizes will include never-before-seen minifigure characters from these franchises. Or it could be from their non-licensed repertoire like the return of Mr. Gold (71001) perhaps.

Other rewards to be added later on will also include a designer signed copy of the LEGO Star Wars UCS Imperial Star Destroyer (75252) worth $700 and signed copies of a new edition of the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary.

Here’s the news as it is from the LEGO Ambassador Network.

Reward Centre-specific items, we are looking to kick off our first Exclusive minifigure sweepstake in February with a 2012 San Diego Comic-Con “Shazam!” minifigure where people from the following countries are allowed to participate***. VIP Members can enter the competition by redeeming 50 VIP points (up to a maximum of 15 entries) with the winner being drawn at random (postcard entries applicable where local law dictates).

The Rewards team intend to operate these sweepstakes every month starting 10th February and running until 2nd March for Shazam! Upcoming minifigure sweepstakes will include a signed Star Wars minifigure and an exclusive version of a Marvel character.

With regards to other items upcoming on the Reward Centre (dates to be confirmed) are designer-signed Imperial Star Destroyer sets and designer-signed Star Wars Visual Dictionary copies.

LEGO servers have been updated once again, revealing another gift-with-purchase (GWP) set to watch out for some time this spring. It has been customary with LEGO to release a GWP set to mark the Easter celebration, and thankfully we now have our first look at what’s in store for this year. Check out these official images of the LEGO Easter Bunny House (853990) seasonal GWP set.

LEGO Easter Bunny (853990)

If you recall from two years ago, LEGO has released a similar promotional item in the form of the LEGO Easter Bunny Hut (5005249) which was released in  March, 2018. And it seems that the customed Easter Bunny Guy will have his female counterpart from the LEGO Easter Bunny (853990) set.

853990 alt2 853990 alt1

Other than the fact that the LEGO Easter Bunny Girl minifigure that comes with this latest GWP is the first of its kind, this deal freebie also comes with several LEGO pieces that are appealing. That scooter is definitely a nice give-away plus that chicken figure.

We don’t have the details nor the specifics yet on how we can avail of this promo, but we can bet that more info will most probably come at the on or before the end of this month especially when the February LEGO Store Calendar comes out. In the meantime, be sure to check out our first GWP set of the year which is the LEGO Hidden Side Drag Racer (40408) which will be available from January 24 to February 9. Just be sure to visit LEGO Shop@Home to update your cart with the necessary qualifying purchases.

Other than having more than a hundred LEGO sets released at this first quarter of the year, there are also plenty of 2020 LEGO books to go around and watch out for. What’s nice about these books is that each of them comes with either an exclusive minifigure, or minibuilds that you will not find anywhere else, such as the upcoming LEGO Minifigure: A Visual History (New Edition) with its orange LEGO Classic Spaceman minifig.

LEGO The United Trinity (6322264) Minifigures Promotional Revealed

The next LEGO Creator Expert set for this year has already been revealed, and as expected from LEGO, it looks like their throwing in some perks for those who will be purchasing the LEGO Creator Expert  Old Trafford-Manchester United (10272) set. As reported by the Brickfinder, the LEGO The United Trinity (6322264) minifigure set will be the gift-with-purchase freebie slated to be added to your cart if you have plans of getting this impressive replica eventually.

LEGO The United Trinity (6322264)

According to a flyer shared via Instagram by AFOL Dylan Chow, the LEGO The United Trinity (6322264) is available at the LEGO brand store in China as an early VIP member gift for those who will get the Old Trafford-Manchester United (10272). This freebie features the renowned Manchester United players – George Best (#10), Denis Law (#10), and Sir Robert “Bobby: Charlton (#9) –  whose statues are boldly displayed near the entrance of the stadium.

the united trinity

Their minifig counterparts have the standard red jersey that the team has been known for. I just hope that LEGO added some bit of exclusivity on these prized minifigs by having the Manchester United logo printed in front of their torsos aside from their jersey numbers at the back.

It is not exactly clear if this gift-with-purchase set will only be available to LEGO fans in China but my best guess is that it will also be available elsewhere especially in Europe where majority of the Manchester United fans are located. In fact, Stonewars have also reported that this promotional exclusive will also be offered in Germany. I’ll keep you posted once more info comes in, so be sure to subscribe to our blog and turn on your web notifications.

The LEGO Creator Expert Old Trafford-Manchester (10272) comes in at 3,898 pieces and is expected to retail for $299.99. It is available for early LEGO VIP access beginning January 16, and to the rest of the world on February 1, 2020.
