Triple Force Friday now comes to a close, and if you were one of those who took part in this Saturday’s LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker Timeline Make and Take building event, then its a nice piece of memorabilia to have around to cap off your LEGO Force Friday experience.
However, even if you were not around to participate in this event, then you’ll be glad to know that Brickset managed to share the building instructions to recreate this Make and Take freebie. Check out the following images below.
Coming in at 87 pieces, there seems to be no exclusive LEGO piece needed to build this set. It’s kind of a basic build actually, and I understand why not all LEGO Star Wars fans are into this kind of thing. But the thought behind this particular build is what makes it more interesting. It’s nice of the designer behind this make-and-take build to feature in using as few as 80+ LEGO pieces the entire Luke Skywalker Timeline as we see him in the events of Episode IV to VIII. Though made up of basic bricks, each rendition of the iconic Star Wars Jedi is easily recognizable. I like how old man Luke was nicely rendered with all the gray beard, hair and sand yellow bricks to represent his current garb as seen in The Last Jedi. As you may have known already, the LEGO Disney Frozen 2 sets are currently available at LEGO Shop@Home alongside the release of the new LEGO Star Wars merchandise for Triple Force Friday. If you’re a LEGO Disney fan, then you’ll be glad to know that LEGO has thrown in a new gift-with-purchase (GWP) set for qualifying purchases of these new LEGO Disney sets. LEGO’s online store has added to its image cache the LEGO Disney Frozen 2 Olaf’s Traveling Sleigh (40361) which you can find below.
For those familiar with this LEGO Disney subtheme, the first thing that is noticeable about this GWP set is the inclusion of the newer minidoll version of Olaf that only comes in two particular LEGO Disney Frozen 2 sets: Enchanted Tree House (41164) and Anna’s Canoe Expedition (41165). So if you’re a fan of the comical snowman, then having this freebie added to your cart is a great incentive to get this new LEGO Disney sets.
Olaf’s Traveling Sleigh (40361) comes in at 97 pieces and also includes a mini sleigh, a small buildable Christmas tree and gift, lamp, and a storage box to place Olaf’s skiing accessories. I don’t see it yet on my shopping cart via LEGO Shop@Home, but since the set’s images have already been added to the online store’s database, then I guess it will just be a matter of time before you see this freebie listed. For now, you may want to delay your purchases a bit if you wish to get this free gift. Word on brick street has it that this free gift will be available from October 7 to 31 or until supplies last so I’ll keep a close eye on this one.

News along the brick pipes a few weeks ago made mention of another pair of LEGO BrickHeadz Star Wars set that ties up with the epic conclusion of the Skywalker saga. In fact, the LEGO BrickHeadz Star Wars Kylo Ren & Sith Trooper (75232) dual pack were even spotted on some store shelves early in September – almost a month before its scheduled debut for Triple Force Friday.
For those who were not fortunate enough to catch this set in September, then you might be pleased to know that LEGO Shop@Home has already listed the Kylo Ren and Sith Trooper (75232) dual pack and is available for purchase for $19.99 USD. It’s nice to hear more info about this Triple Force Friday promotional make-and-take event. On October 5, adult fans of LEGO will be treated with another freebie by participating in-stores to create a brick memorabilia of Luke Skywalker’s timeline across the Star Wars films. Take note that this building event is intended for adults ages 18 and above, and will require a pre-registration in-store on October 1st. Fans are also encouraged to come inside LEGO stores dressed as their favorite Star Wars characters from October 4 to 6. Special treats will be given to those who will participate on a first-come, first-served basis.
October 16: Visit Your Local LEGO Store to Build a UFO
Visit your local LEGO Store to build and take home a UFO minibuild. Same as with LEGO’s previous monthly minibuilds, this building event has limited space and registration is required. In-store signups start on October 3 and are intended for children ages 6 to 14 only.
October 4-November 3: Red Squadron Vs Blue Squadron
Come into your local LEGO store to decode hidden building instructions using a pair of special glasses. Build your ship as fast as you can and race your siblings, a parent, or new friends. This experience is intended for all ages, and no registration is required. Do take note that this in-store experience may not be available in all LEGO Store locations.
October 31: The LEGO Hidden Side Newbury Juice Bar (40336) Freebie is Back
Just in time for Halloween, you can stop by at your local LEGO store in your spookiest costume for some trick or treat fun.
