Our brick-minded friends from Promobricks managed to round up several, crisp images of what I am personally looking forward to as a LEGO collector. And thankfully, we now have an idea of what we can expect for next year’s collection of LEGO 2021 polybags.
From the looks of it, it seems that each particular LEGO theme will once offer a new polybag – from home-grown themes to licensed ones, each of these LEGO 2021 polybags offers a mini-scale version of a particular set in its upcoming subtheme (like in the case of the new LEGO Ninjagoand DOTS series) or expands your collection of useful LEGO pieces. Such is the case for the LEGO City Pop-Up Store (30569), considering the printed tile pieces that go with it.
They’re not usually listed over at LEGO Shop@Home, though you can find them in your local LEGO brand store and other third-party retailers as well. Expect these polys to be around starting January and throughout the first quarter of 2021, retailing for $4.99. Which one of these will you pick up? Let us know in the comments below.

UPDATE: It seems that the LEGO Catalog H1 2021 has been uploaded by mistake since it is no longer available to download from LEGO’s servers.
LEGO has uploaded the digital version of its LEGO Catalog H1 2021 (January to May 2021), and with it comes more LEGO sets that are expected to arrive during the 1st quarter of 2021. From the looks of it, LEGO still has plenty of surprises in store, other than what we know so far coming from its 2021 lineup of sets (e.g. those coming from its various non-licensed themes such City, Creator, Ninjago, and Friends among others).
Needless to say, the LEGO Catalog H1 2021 fills in some of the gaps that are noticeably missing in the upcoming sets that were revealed last time. Let’s take a look at some of these additional sets, all of which are slated to be available in February and March. I’ll keep you posted once these sets are listed over at LEGO Shop@Home.
Next year’s latest LEGO Classic sets throws in a handful of useful pieces for any LEGO fans in general. From transparent bricks to cogs and wheels, these extra LEGO pieces will sure come in handy for your next LEGO project.

LEGO CMF Series 22
We’re still counting the weeks before LEGO CMF Series 21 (71029) is released in January, and from the looks of it, LEGO is giving us a treat in May with the reveal of its CMF Series 22. There’s no word yet on the brick street on what this next wave of collectible minifigs will be, but given LEGO’s previous CMF releases, we can expect that this is most likely to come from a licensed theme. Marvel Superheroes perhaps? Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

LEGO Creator Safari Wildlife Treehouse (31116)

We’re just counting the days before we once more share the spirit of the holidays. And despite the current pandemic that drastically altered our lives, there are still plenty of reasons to make this holiday season fun and worthwhile. So if you’re still out and about planning your Christmas wishlist, then you may want to check out the December 2020 LEGO Store Calendar, and all the freebies and offerings that it has in store.
The past months saw LEGO struggling to open its physical stores to the public because of the limitations imposed by the pandemic. However, now that safety protocols are in place and people are now more conscious of keeping these health protocols, LEGO has gradually opened its brand stores once more to the public. In fact, some of their promotional freebies are now exclusively available in-store for those who will opt to make the most out of the LEGO Store experience.
That being said, let’s take a look at the promotional offerings that LEGO has in store for December. You may also download a PDF version of the December 2020 LEGO Store Calendar right here.
Free LEGO Seasonal Ice Skating Rink (40416)
December 1 to 24, 2020, or until supplies last.
This year’s LEGO holiday season exclusive freebie is the minifigure vignette, LEGO Ice Skating Rink (40416). This seasonal gift-with-purchase set features a playable, rotating skating rink with two minifigures. This exclusive set will be added to your cart automatically for free once your single-receipt purchase of LEGO products reaches $150 or more both in-store and online via LEGO Shop@Home.
Free LEGO VIP Stationery Holiday Gift Set 2020 (5006482)
December 1 to 15, 2020, or until supplies last.
Here’s a great way to wrap up your LEGO holiday presents. As a LEGO VIP member and for every LEGO qualifying purchase of any LEGO sets or products worth $40 or more, will entitle you to this free LEGO Stationery Holiday Gift Set. Each set comes with a nice collection of gift wraps, gift bags, tags, stickers, and ribbons. This promo is available for LEGO VIP members from December 1 to 15 or while supplies last, so be sure to time your purchases during these dates if you want to add that extra LEGO touch to your holiday presents. This offer is also available both in-store and online.
Free LEGO Creator Train (30575)
December 14 to 24, 2020, or while supplies last.
It’s nice to see that LEGO is throwing in another freebie for those who will be diving into the last leg of the holiday shopping rush. It is also interesting to note that the LEGO Creator Train (30575) polybag will only be offered as an in-store promotional for those who will be making their purchases in LEGO brand stores during these promo dates. This polybag freebie will be added to your cart for every qualifying LEGO purchase of $40 and above.
As a final note, I have to say that I kind of miss the monthly in-store events and additional freebies that LEGO used to sponsor. But I guess it’s a necessary sacrifice to make sure everybody is safe. I just hope this pandemic will soon end and that 2021 will offer a better, brighter year for all of us. Happy holidays everyone!
Following the reveal of our first wave of LEGO City sets for 2021, Dutch online toy retailer Van der Meulen also listed several LEGO Creator 3-in-1 2021 sets slated to arrive January 1st next year. This initial salvo of LEGO Creator sets continues the tradition of multi-build offerings that have been quite popular among younger LEGO fans.
For 2021, we will get to see the usual 3-in-1 vehicular builds plus another transforming brick-built creature in the form of a lion, ostrich, and wild boar. I find one set interesting, particularly the LEGO Creator Cyber Drone (31111) and its reference to the LEGO Classic Space theme. As far as I recall, it’s quite rare for a minifigure to be thrown in together with the usual LEGO Creator 3-in-1 multi build, much more of a minifig that comes with a unique Space logo makes it even more appealing.
The rest of the sets included in this wave of reveal highlights a motorbike that follows a similar color scheme compared to that of the LEGO Technic BMW R 1200 GS Adventure (42063) from 2017. There’s also a Beach House that doubles as a lighthouse, and what seems to be a fishing dock. Other than these images, information is still a bit scant specifically with regards to these sets’ piece count and expected retail price. In the meantime, we will keep our radars open when these LEGO Creator 3-in-1 2021 sets make their appearance over at LEGO Shop@Home. I’ll keep this post updated soon as LEGO lists them in their online shopping portal. We can also expect more reveals to be out in the next few days so stay tuned.
Last April, we caught a glimpse of the next wave of LEGO Creator 3-in-1 summer 2020 sets to watch out for next month, and now thanks to Czech website Kostickylega, we now have better, higher quality images of these upcoming sets including their product descriptions.
As I’ve mentioned before, these next series of LEGO Creator 3-in-1 summer 2020 sets pay tribute to some of the most endeared LEGO themes such as the Classic Space, Pirates, and City genre. Most notable of these new sets is the sizeable LEGO Creator Pirate Ship with its brick-built sails. As a 3-in-1 set, it also offers alternate builds such as a tavern and a mean-looking Skull Island. It also features a new Pirate Captain minifigure that resembles the iconic Captain Redbeard. Check out these images, and read on for the rest of their product descriptions. Pardon me for the rough Google translation, though.
Be sure to check with LEGO Shop@Home to know more about when these LEGO Creator 3-in-1 summer 2020 sets will be available.

LEGO has been gradually revealing its wave of LEGO Creator 3-in-1 summer 2020 sets as we approach the second half of this year, thanks to Portuguese online retailer Jbnet. And in continuation of its throwback Pirate theme, such as that of the LEGO Ideas Pirates of Barracuda Bay (21322), this next wave of LEGO Creator sets also feature a pirate ship that makes a great addition to any high-seas brick adventure.
Other than a pirate ship adventure, additional offerings from this wave of LEGO Creator 3-in-1 summer 2020 sets also build on some of LEGO’s previous releases. There’s also a set that reflects the outdoors experience, including a pretty impressive, Space-inspired rover vehicle.
From the get-go, what stands out from this wave is perhaps the substantially large Pirate Ship with its brick sails. If I recall correctly, this is the first galleon-type ship of its kind (and size) that comes with such a sail. Though I prefer the usual cloth sail, the overall playful design of this build makes up for it. There’s also the Pirate Captain minifig that is somehow similar to the legendary Captain Redbeard – it’s kind of hard to tell given the following images, but we’ll get a closer look once LEGO publishes its official images. The brick-built shark is a pretty nice addition as well.
There is no retail price, piece count, and release date mentioned on the site for these latest LEGO Creator 3-in-1 summer 2020 sets, but we can assume that they will be available sometime in June with a price range of probably between $60 to $80 based on their sizes. I’ll post another update once they make their appearance over at LEGO Shop@Home. So for the meantime, stay at home and stay safe.
Following the reveal of the next wave of LEGO City 2020 sets straight from the Nuremberg Toy Fair, we now have more news regarding upcoming LEGO Creator 3-in-1 2020 sets courtesy once more of Zusammengebaut. There were only 3 LEGO Creator sets that were featured during the toy fair, one of which brings back memories of one of LEGO’s classic themes beloved by older LEGO fans.
Filming or photography is strictly prohibited but LEGO allows us to publish their set names and other info available during the duration of the Toy Fair.
LEGO Creator 3-in-1
Space Rover (31107) €49.99
Camper Van (31108) €79.99
Pirate Ship (31109) €99.99
For fans of the classic Pirate theme, please take note that the LEGO Creator Pirate Ship, though being the largest among this series, does not feature an actual cloth sail similar to its predecessors. The sail portion of this set is entirely made of white LEGO pieces with black ones used to highlight some details. I find it a bit odd actually since the LEGO Creator Pirate Ship (31109) will look way better with sailcloth on it for that matter.
There are also minifigures included that are said to resemble those released under the Pirates theme back in 2009 and 2015. However these minifigs were not put on display, but the placeholders on the box art positively suggest that these will be thrown in together with the set.
The next LEGO Creator 3-in-1 2020 set may somehow take inspiration from the LEGO Pirates The Brick Bounty (70143), but with less the cloth sails.
There is no confirmed release date yet, but a June 2020 window is a reasonable conclusion. Perhaps more info and images will be released during next month’s New York Toy Fair. We’ll keep you posted.
