More and more new-for-2020 LEGO sets are gradually making their public debut. So much so that I have to admit that it’s a bit of a challenge to keep up with the wave of these new reveals. Following the recent unveiling of the new 2020 LEGO Star Wars, Ninjago and Technic sets, we now have our first look at the LEGO Creator 2020 sets courtesy of Swiss online retailer Mein Spielzeug.
This collection of new LEGO Creator 2020 sets is by far an impressive bunch, especially that Burger Monster Truck and Fire Dragon. Similar to other sets earlier revealed, we can somehow expect these to be released by January 2020. With these sets already being listed on other third-party retailers, we can somehow expect them to appear at LEGO Shop@Home sometime in December.
I’m particularly excited about that Burger Monster Truck actually, and it’s kind of interesting to see that LEGO opted to include a smaller build that is somehow similar to the controversial LEGO Ideas Space Rocket Ride (40335) promotional that was released way back in June of this year.
In any case, this latest wave of LEGO Creator 3-in-1 sets does not disappoint from a creative standpoint. Which one of these will be your first-day buy? Comment down below and let us know what you think.
Last April, we spotted the wave of LEGO Creator summer 2019 sets courtesy of a Belgian toy store. Though the European release date for these sets are slated for an earlier date, it wasn’t known then when these new LEGO Creator sets will break ground in the US. But this time around, shop.LEGO.com has updated its database to include these latest sets with an announced release date of August 1st. Plus, they’ve included a bunch of official images and product descriptions that give us a closer look at what to expect from these. I personally like the Townhouse Pet Shop & Cafe (31097) since its quite seldom that LEGO comes up with a 3-in-1 set at such a large proportion. Check out the rest of these LEGO Creator summer 2019 sets, and let us know what you are looking forward to.

The wave of LEGO set reveals continues. After the release of the LEGO Toy Story 4 tie-in sets, and the LEGO Movie 2, and the sky-rocketing LEGO City Space, we now have our next reveal coming from the LEGO Creator line. From the looks of these set images, as seen and listed by Belgian retailer ToyChamp, there’s a variety of themes for this new batch of 2019 summer LEGO Creator sets. One of them actually seems to follow up on a carnival-themed set from last year, the Pirate Roller Coaster (31084). They’ look good built side by side as you can see from the following images.
First in line is the LEGO Creator Fairground Carousel (31095) set, and it’s also a 2-in-1 build like its predecessors. Aside from the carousel build, the parts can also be reconfigured into a drop tower with extra parts to make mini merchandise and food stalls.
ToyChamp lists these LEGO Creator sets as coming late in May or first week of June. That may be true for Europe at least, and sometime in August for the US.
There is more to expect from the LEGO Creator theme this year after its initial offering earlier this month. Thanks to Zusammengebaut who was at the LEGO show room at this year’s Nuremberg Toy Fair, we now have a glimpse at the new summer 2019 LEGO Creator 3-in-1 sets coming in June. Though we don’t have pictures as the moment since photography is strictly prohibited inside the show room, we have some general descriptions of what these new 3-in-1 sets are and their alternate modes or variants.
Fairground Carousel (31095)
Dual-rotor Helicopter (31096)
Townhouse with Pet Store (31097)
The LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Pirate Roller Coaster (31084) from 2018.
The Fairground Carousel sounds promising since it is of the same price range as that of last year’s Pirate Roller Coaster (31084). Its fairground theme is very much welcomed since it will be a great add-on to the Pirate Roller Coaster, and comes with two additional alternate modes: a Rocket Tower and a smaller Ferris Wheel. It seems much of LEGO’s summer 2019 offerings have a fairground vibe, such as the LEGO City People Pack – City Dwellers (60234) and LEGO Friends Amusement Park (41375). The Dual-Rotor Helicopter also features an interchangeable Jet and Hovercraft, while the Townhouse with Pet Store changes into a Tram Stop and a Bank.
I’m certainly looking forward to these sets. What do you think?
A few days ago, we reported on how the first wave of 2019 LEGO Creator sets was spotted in a Mastermind Toy Store in Canada. It was immediately noticeable that LEGO is continuing its line of 3-in-1 Creator sets, ranging from vehicles, a boat and a sea creature can transform to a shark, angler fish, and a giant squid.
I’m particularly interested with the Deep Sea Creatures, Underwater Robot, and Riverside Houseboat so I hope to grab these sets as soon as they are available. These new 2019 LEGO Creator sets are slated to be released before the year ends, so I guess I better save up for the holidays. Thanks to Candid Bricks for the tip.
After our first look at the 2019 LEGO City sets which were spotted on display in Canadian stores, we now have our first look at the 2019 LEGO Creator sets which are also found on the same store shelves of Canadian retailer Mastermind Toys. These latest LEGO sets still follow the 3-in-1 formats with one set dedicated to the creatures of the sea.
There is no official word from LEGO regarding the release of these sets, though it usually happens that some third-party retailers receive these newest LEGO sets firsthand and gets to display them ahead of the LEGO Store or at LEGO.com.
So what do you think about these latest 2019 LEGO Creator sets? I’m not really a fan of these 3-in-1 builds, but seeing how they are designed particularly the Shuttle Transporter and Deep Sea Creatures, I might be tempted to pick them up on Day 1.
Thanks once again to Brickset for sharing these images.
It seems that there will be plenty of happy LEGO fans in Germany since the much-awaited 2016 Summer LEGO sets have finally landed over at LEGOLAND Allee in Günzburg, Germany. The guys of Promobricks took some time off to visit LEGOLAND Allee, and they were delightfully surprised to see the much talked about 2016 Summer LEGO sets, specifically those from Star Wars, Friends and Creator lineups are now on display at the theme park’s store shelves ahead of its official release.
LEGO announced earlier during the New York Toy Fair that the above-mentioned sets will be released in the US sometime in August, while both Amazon UK and Amazon Japan have already listed these sets for pre-order to be released during the first week of June in their localities. Here are some of the images that Promobricks have snapped inside the store of LEGOLAND Allee in Germany.
