LEGO Ninjago Season 15 Sets – What We Know So Far

As you may already know, this year marks the 10th anniversary of LEGO Ninjago since its debut back in 2011. Since then, the TV series has quite a following producing several seasons, an animated film, and a lot of cool LEGO sets to boast. And while we are still waiting for the LEGO Ninjago The Island sets to be released next month, it seems that LEGO has already laid out plans for its LEGO Ninjago Season 15 sets.

LEGO Ninjago Season 15 Sets and Beyond

If you’re not too much into spoilers, then I suggest that you might need to hit that back button to keep yourself untainted about these numerous leaks that are spreading over the internet. But let me be clear that I am not posting any leaked images here in respect to LEGO’s embargo on these upcoming sets. However, if you insist, then read on and do a quick search over at Instagram and follow the trail of bricks right there.

If I remember it correctly, it was our friends from Promobricks who first broke the news regarding these LEGO Ninjago 2021 sets back in November. It was also somewhat expected considering that these sets are part of LEGO’s offering for the first half of the year. Though official images are already available back then coming primarily from a third-party retailer, there is an interesting piece of info that was included in the report. As it seems, LEGO not only has LEGO Ninjago The Island sets all ready set up but also including the tie-in sets that are supposed to be released in the 2nd half of 2021.

Particularly, this collection of LEGO Ninjago Season 15 sets will continue the adventure of the team from the uncharted island to the depths of the perilous seas. And this time around, the focus is now shifted to Nya and the mystery behind her elemental powers. Here’s how one particular TV station summarizes Season 15:

When Nya’s powers are disrupted, the ninja set off in search of answers and find themselves at the bottom of endless oceans where they discover that her powers are linked to an ancient mythical creature.

Though there is no working title revealed for this next season, it is clear from the get-go that their next adventure will be a sort of underwater expedition to discover this mythical sea creature. And as expected, the LEGO Ninjago tie-in sets for this season will reflect an underwater adventure theme. As listed by Promobricks, these sets will include:

  • Llyod’s Hydro Mech (71750)
  • Ninja Sub Speeder (71752)
  • Water Dragon (71754)
  • Temple of Endless Sea (71755)
  • Hydro Bounty (71756)
lego ninjago season 15 set
An Instagram post from one of LEGO’s social media channels reveals the LEGO Ninjago Lloyd’s Hydro Mech (71750) as it hitches a ride on a backpack.

Recently, water-marked preliminary images of these sets have started to appear on social media. In fact, Lloyd’s Hydro Mech was actually teased in one of LEGO’s Instagram account, presumably from Chile.  One of the set’s prominent features includes an over-sized shoulder guard which is an inverted roof piece first seen in the LEGO Ninjago Movie Piranha Attack (70629).

The Ninja Sub Speeder is basically a race-car build fitted with turbines for its mags. It comes in a blue, orange, and black color scheme with three minifigures.

The Water Dragon for me is the most impressive by far. It features an underwater, Asian-inspired dragon that is somewhat reminiscent of the now discontinued LEGO Elves theme. It is impressively articulated and I assume that this set might be referencing the mysterious mythical creature that Nya needs to find.

The Temple of the Endless Sea features an underwater shrine of some sort and is guarded by a large and imposing sea creature. The way it is designed is similar to semi-circular temples or shrines from previous Ninjago seasons.

Finally, it seems that Destiny’s Bounty will also have an underwater counterpart in the form of the Hydro Bounty, less its sails of course. The latter has a slimmer and lower profile making it suitable for quick movements under water.

That’s how far I can go in describing these LEGO Ninjago Season 15 sets, and we can expect these to be released sometime in June, or within the third quarter of the year just in time for Season 15’s debut. In the meantime be sure to check with LEGO Shop@Home for the latest LEGO Ninjago offerings that you can expect next month.

LEGO Ninjago The Island Set Images Revealed

Back in December, we saw LEGO’s H1 2021 catalog, and eventually, a glimpse at our first wave of upcoming LEGO sets which are expected to arrive during the first quarter. From there we learned that LEGO Ninjago will be introducing the LEGO Ninjago The Island subtheme, where we find our ninja heroes at odds against a new threat, deep in a mysterious jungle. The chief antagonist of the new subtheme goes by the name of Chief Mammatus and his loyal cabal collectively known as The Keepers.

Now thanks to Brickset, we have a closer, better look at these new LEGO Ninjago The Island sets, slated to arrive in March. This is just in time for the debut of LEGO Ninjago’s Season 14 animated series to be aired on Cartoon Network. As of this posting, these sets are yet to be listed over at LEGO Shop@Home, but I’ll update this post once they are up at LEGO’s online shopping portal. But for now, let’s a closer look.

Here Are The LEGO 2021 Polybags To Watch Out For

Our brick-minded friends from Promobricks managed to round up several, crisp images of what I am personally looking forward to as a LEGO collector. And thankfully, we now have an idea of what we can expect for next year’s collection of LEGO 2021 polybags.

From the looks of it, it seems that each particular LEGO theme will once offer a new polybag – from home-grown themes to licensed ones, each of these LEGO 2021 polybags offers a mini-scale version of a particular set in its upcoming subtheme (like in the case of the new LEGO Ninjago and DOTS series) or expands your collection of useful LEGO pieces. Such is the case for the LEGO City Pop-Up Store (30569), considering the printed tile pieces that go with it.

They’re not usually listed over at LEGO Shop@Home, though you can find them in your local LEGO brand store and other third-party retailers as well.  Expect these polys to be around starting January and throughout the first quarter of 2021, retailing for $4.99. The LEGO Catalog H1 2021 Now Up At LEGO Servers

UPDATE: It seems that the LEGO Catalog H1 2021 has been uploaded by mistake since it is no longer available to download from LEGO’s servers.

LEGO has uploaded the digital version of its LEGO Catalog H1 2021 (January to May 2021), and with it comes more LEGO sets that are expected to arrive during the 1st quarter of 2021. From the looks of it, LEGO still has plenty of surprises in store, other than what we know so far coming from its 2021 lineup of sets (e.g. those coming from its various non-licensed themes such City, Creator, Ninjago, and Friends among others).

Needless to say, the LEGO Catalog H1 2021 fills in some of the gaps that are noticeably missing in the upcoming sets that were revealed last time. Let’s take a look at some of these additional sets, all of which are slated to be available in February and March. I’ll keep you posted once these sets are listed over at LEGO Shop@Home.

LEGO Classic Sets (11006, 11007, 11012, 11013, 11014)

Next year’s latest LEGO Classic sets throws in a handful of useful pieces for any LEGO fans in general. From transparent bricks to cogs and wheels, these extra LEGO pieces will sure come in handy for your next LEGO project.

LEGO CMF Series 22

We’re still counting the weeks before LEGO CMF Series 21 (71029) is released in January, and from the looks of it, LEGO is giving us a treat in May with the reveal of its CMF Series 22. There’s no word yet on the brick street on what this next wave of collectible minifigs will be, but given LEGO’s previous CMF releases, we can expect that this is most likely to come from a licensed theme. Marvel Superheroes perhaps? Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

LEGO Ninjago 2021 First Wave of Set Images Released

LEGO Ninjago is still going strong, and next year sees a selection of LEGO Ninjago 2021 sets that are pretty impressive in my opinion. Other than the LEGO City, Friends, and Creator 2021 sets, fans can also expect a lot from the LEGO Ninjago theme which includes revamped battle kits and an awesome looking Titan Mech to boot.

Thanks once again to Dutch online toy retailer Van der Meulen, we can now take a look at some of the things that we can expect from this first wave of LEGO Ninjago 2021 sets. From the get-go, we can see that the LEGO Epic Battle Sets mark the theme’s 10th anniversary, with some of the most iconic battle scenes from the show. Aside from its spinner features, these sets also come with unique weapon pieces that expand our minifigure heroes arsenal.

Another highlight of this first wave of LEGO Ninjago 2021 sets is its mech-inspired set. By far, the LEGO Ninjago Zane’s Titan Mech Battle (71738) is, in my opinion, is one of the most impressive mech builds that theme has come up with recently. It is basically a re-imagining of 2015’s LEGO Ninjago Titan Mech Battle (70737), and its recent version certainly is 10x better than its predecessor. Though I’m not at liberty to publish its image right here, I’m sure a good Google and Instagram search will yield some positive results.

This initial offering of LEGO Ninjago 2021 sets is expected to be released on January 1st, 2021, over at LEGO Shop@Home and LEGO brand stores. They’re not yet listed on LEGO’s online shopping portal as of this posting, and I’ll update this article once there affiliate links go live. For now, let’s take a look at this.

LEGO Super Mario
71361 11
And of course, LEGO obviously has more plans for its latest collaboration with Nintendo. In 2021, we can expect another series of Character Pack similar to its LEGO Super Mario Character Pack Series 1 (71361)

71380 Starter Course Set 2 (366 pieces, €59.99)

The names of these upcoming LEGO sets under the Super Mario theme are understandably kept under wraps, but from the looks of it, we can expect a new Starter Course set, 3 Expansion Sets, 2 additional Super Mario costumes, or Power-Ups, and another series of Character Packs. The Starter Course Set 2 is quite interesting and we’ll have to see how this will turn out.

LEGO Harry Potter

Rumor has it that the LEGO Harry Potter theme will receive its Disney-like series of Storybook Adventures, but in this case, based on the various classrooms of the iconic Hogwarts Castle. Each LEGO Harry Potter Storybook playset is expected to retail for €29.99, with a release date of January 2021.

LEGO Star Wars
75193 1
Yeah, I know it may sound redundant already but hey, the Millennium Falcon still holds a special place in LEGO Star Wars fandom. As proof of that, we can expect another LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon Microfighter similar to what we have in set 75193 to be part of a repertoire of upcoming LEGO sets.

75306 18+ Helmet Series: Imperial Probe Droid (683 pieces, €69.99)
75307 18+ Helmet Series: ??? (??? pieces, €69.99)

This is an exhaustive list though since we can still expect plenty of new information to come in as we approach the last quarter of this year. However, since LEGO is quite mum about these things, for now, I highly suggest that we consider all of these things for the rumors that they really are for the time being. Unless we hear LEGO’s official press release and product reveal regarding its upcoming LEGO sets, then let’s take this piece of news with a healthy amount of salt.

Check Out These New LEGO 18+ Sets and More Available Now

Its August 1st, and it can only mean that more LEGO sets are now put on display at your local brand LEGO store (in case they’re now open) and over at LEGO Shop@Home. And this month, it seems that LEGO has the adult fan community in mind when it launched its impressive wave of LEGO 18+ sets, catering to the more discerning LEGO hobbyist in mind.

Since LEGO began introducing its 18+ sets branding with the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection, the LEGO Group made it a point to offer larger, more sophisticated sets to the AFOL (Adult Fans of LEGO) community. And since then, we’ve seen a steady increase of sets representing each of LEGO’s current themes.

Just to be sure that everything is covered though, LEGO has also released other sets intended for all ages coming from its various licensed and homegrown themes. With 55 new sets offered this month (as per Brickset’s count), I’m pretty sure there is something that will catch your fancy. We have a handful of new sets coming from other LEGO themes such as Star Wars, Super Mario, Harry Potter, Technic, Friends, City, Ninjago, Hidden Side and my personal favorite, Monkie Kid. Take note that depending on your region, some of these sets might still be released on a later date.

Check out these LEGO 18+ sets now available at LEGO’s online shopping portal. And if you wish to add them to your LEGO must-have list for this month, be kind enough to click on the following affiliate links below to support our work here in The Brick Show. Read on and happy building!
