Limited Edition LEGO Dimensions 71342 Green Arrow Fun Pack Found At eBay

Thanks again to Minifigure Price Guide, we finally found what seems to be our first official polybag image of the elusive LEGO Dimensions, Limited Edition, Green Arrow Fun Pack tagged with serial number 71342. This compelling piece of evidence further adds confirmation to what we have reported previously, together with the appearance of a building guide for LEGO Dimensions Supergirl. MPG found this polybag set over at eBay which as of this writing has been sold out already.

[]

[]

The seller, veselekladno1977, seems to be based in the Czech Republic and has reportedly sold 5 of these Green Arrow LEGO Dimensions polybag sets at a lucrative price of USD 44 each. A LEGO Dimensions Fun Pack costs an average of $10 to $11 over at major retailers. This LEGO Dimensions Green Arrow comes with the same yellow base as that of LEGO Dimensions Supergirl, with some variation in the printing. Frankly speaking, the Green Arrow minifigure found in this polybag is virtually the same as that found in LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Darkseid Invasion 76028. Minifig connoisseurs may find little excitement over this one in terms of value for money.

[]

[]

Paying $44 for a minifigure that is readily available together with a $42 set is a little bit over-the-top, especially now that the LEGO Darkseid Invasion 76028 set comes at 30% off, listing it at $41.99 at Amazon Prime and Target. So if you’re raring to add Green Arrow to your roster of Super Hero minifigs, then opting for 76028 while it’s on sale is the better alternative. Or if you’re willing to wait, LEGO Dimensions Green Arrow 71342 is expected to make an appearance hopefully at this year’s E3 Los Angeles Expo from June 14 to 16.

LEGO Nexo Knights 70326 The Black Knight Mech Revealed!

Hot on the heels of his recent reveals with the LEGO Star Wars Rebel Combat Frigate 75158 and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Tanker Truck Takedown 76067, Jacob_9821 from Eurobricks revealed another set that we are eagerly waiting for since this cap off what we know so far with LEGO’s summer releases under the Nexo Knights line. Here are the official images of LEGO Nexo Knights The Black Knight Mech 70326.

[]

[]

Those of you who are familiar with 70327 The King’s Mech may have noticed some similarities with that set to the Black Knight Mech, virtually having the same pieces but with a different color scheme and noticeably sleeker design. I like how the sword and shield complement the pieces in this set. The Black Knight Mech made its first appearance during the first season of the Nexo Knights TV series on Cartoon Network, piloted by the young Robin Underwood.

[]

[]

It comes in 530 pieces and includes several minifigures: Robin with a new armor, a Squirebot, Ash Attacker, and Whiparella which comes exclusive with this set, complete with her Whips of Fear. This is a sure take for those who are into collecting Nexo Knights minifigures.

[]

No pricing has been mentioned yet, but BZ Power reported during their visit to the New York Toy Fair earlier this year that the Black Knight 70326 costs USD 39.99 and is slated to be released in August. Again, 70326 was not revealed during the New York Toy Fair so chances are this is another retailer exclusive. We don’t have any information yet on what store this will be exclusive to, so we’ll be on the lookout as more updates come in.

Tell us what you think about this set and share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Thanks to Brickset for the heads up.

LEGO Star Wars Rebel Combat Frigate 75158 Revealed!

We now have our first images of another 2016 LEGO Star Wars set that will hit stores later in the summer. Similar to Batman: Rescue from Ra’s al Ghul (76056), this new Star Wars set was not revealed during the New York Toy Fair earlier this year.  LEGO Star Wars Rebel Combat Frigate 75158 is based on the Pelta-class frigate Phoenix Home as seen in the first episode of Season 2 of Disney XD’s Star Wars Rebels.

[]

[]

Thanks again to Jacob_9821 from Eurobricks who also gave us as our first images of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Tanker Truck Takedown 76067, we now have our first look at this new Star Wars Rebels set 75158. Consisting of 938 pieces, the set comes with a newer minifigure version of  Ahsoka Tano, C1-10P (Chopper), Ezra Bridger, Captain Sato, and Agent Kallus. The Ahsoka Tano minifigure in this set also seems to have a new face print and is now updated with new trans-blue pieces for her dual lightsabers. We do not have any pricing mentioned as of the moment, but given that it is the second largest set from LEGO’s 2016 Summer set releases, the first being LEGO Star Wars Captain Rex’s AT-TE 75157 with 972 pieces, we could expect a price range anywhere between $99 to $119.

The Rebel Combat Frigate 75158, along with the fourth Captain America Civil War set 76067, is expected to be another retailer exclusive.

Thanks, Hoth Bricks for the tip.

Fourth LEGO Marvel Captain America Civil War Set 76067 Finally Found!

Throughout the weekend, Eurobricks member Jacob_9821 finally gave us our first look at the highly anticipated fourth Captain America Civil War set, the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Tanker Truck Takedown 76067 which we previously mentioned as one of the sets that we’re still waiting to see this summer. Thanks to Jacob_9821, we now have these images.

[]

[]

76067 looks great at so many points. First off, we finally have our newest minifigure version of Spider-Man as we see him in the Civil War. For most of us, this is one Spidey that we will add to our roster of most wanted minifigures. Then we have another minifig rendition of Vision which we first had in The Avengers Quinjet City  Chase 76032 – a larger set as compared to 76067. We also have a newer version of Hawkeye with a purple vest that perfectly matches his similarly colored motorcycle. His bike itself is a great build that closely resembles that of Captain America’s Motorcycle 30447. Finally, Tanker Truck Takedown 76067 is a great complement to Super Hero Airport Battle 76051 as it depicts that epic scene where the Avengers are forced to fight each other.

This fourth Civil War set wraps up everything that we know so far about LEGO’s releases under this theme and is expected to be a retailer exclusive. Stephen made an interesting set analysis of the first three sets from the Civil War, highlighting the best features among them. Tom also wrote an excellent article on the accuracy of these sets as compared to the actual scenes that were depicted in the film. Be sure to take a look at these superb commentaries and share with us what you think about the LEGO Civil War collection in the comments below.

World’s Largest LEGO Store Opens in Shanghai, China

Last Wednesday marked the opening of the world’s largest LEGO store in Shanghai Disney Resort in China with the hope of attracting more customers once the Disney theme park opens in June. According to LEGO Shanghai store’s General Manager Jacob Kragh, China was one of the best-performing markets last year seeing an increase of more than 30% of sales of LEGO products. LEGO’s presence is keenly felt in this part of China, especially considering that the company has plans to set up its first factory in Jiaxing, which is expected to be operational by 2017 employing 2,000 personnel. Construction of the factory has already begun since 2014.

The massive two-story, 1,000-square-meter Lego store features models ranging from a giant dragon, well-known Disney and Marvel characters, and the twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac. Here’s a look at some of the sights in and around the world’s largest LEGO Store courtesy of Reuters and China News.

[]

Considering the amount of attention LEGO is giving to the Chinese market, it will not take long before we see other LEGO Stores set up in the country. This might be a good way of counteracting the selling and distribution of certain Chinese-made, LEGO-like knock-offs, especially if LEGO can lower the costs of their sets within the area. Here’s a look at some of the promotions as seen from the store’s May and June calendar, as uploaded by a local LEGO Store visitor Capitalism Village (I hope Google Translate got this right).

The store’s calendar didn’t hold back in its promotion, featuring some of the larger sets that LEGO has just released recently, including this year’s LEGO Star Wars UCS Attack on Hoth (75098), 2015’s LEGO Star Wars UCS Tie Fighter (75095), and  Imperial Assault Carrier (75106). It also featured sets from different names such as the DC Comics Batman Classic TV Series – Batcave (76052), Ninjago Temple of Airjitzu (70751), and Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters (75827). There’s also a promotion for what seems to be some Nexo Knights and Friends polybags, plus a corner for the LEGO Nexo Knights Merlok 2.0 app.

So what do you think about this development? Are you excited to visit this LEGO Store?

LEGO Summer 2016 Star Wars, Friends, and Creator Sets Are Now Available at LEGOLAND Germany Ahead Of Its Official Release

It seems that there will be plenty of happy LEGO fans in Germany since the much-awaited 2016 Summer LEGO sets have finally landed over at LEGOLAND Allee in Günzburg, Germany. The guys of Promobricks took some time off to visit LEGOLAND Allee, and they were delightfully surprised to see the much talked about 2016 Summer LEGO sets, specifically those from Star Wars, Friends and Creator lineups are now on display at the theme park’s store shelves ahead of its official release.

LEGO announced earlier during the New York Toy Fair that the above-mentioned sets will be released in the US sometime in August, while both Amazon UK and Amazon Japan have already listed these sets for pre-order to be released during the first week of June in their localities. Here are some of the images that Promobricks have snapped inside the store of LEGOLAND Allee in Germany.

Here’s Our First Look at the Official Set Images of LEGO 70596 Ninjago Samurai X Cave Chaos

We had our first look at the official images of LEGO’s 2016 Summer Ninjago sets a few weeks ago. Missing from these if you have noticed, are the yet-to-be-revealed Titanium Ninja Tumbler (70588), Airjitzu Battlegrounds (70590), and Samurai X Cave Chaos (70596). Truth be told, several leaked images of these sets went online recently, particularly those of 70588 and 70596.

This time around, thanks once again to Amazon Japan, we now have our first official set of images for LEGO Ninjago Samurai X Cave Chaos 70596.  The set features eight minifigures namely Sensei Wu, Nya, Lloyd Garmadon, Jay Walker, General Cryptor, Pythor P. Chumsworth, Swordsman, and General Kozu.

[]

[]

There’s also a set image from the Titanium Ninja Tumbler (70588) posted on Amazon Japan, however, the one that they posted there appears to be the “confidential, not to be copied” type which is kind of odd actually. Wonder if this is just a mess up. Anyway, here’s one of the set images from 70588 without the ominous watermark.

[]

Click here if you want to see the entire Amazon Japan listing for this one. As of this writing, we don’t have any news yet for the Airjutzu Battlegrounds set (70590), but we’re pretty sure that will be seeing some news about this set a few days from now.

Official Images of LEGO 76056 DC Comics Super Heroes Batman: Rescue from Ra’s al Ghul Emerges

We finally have this first look at the third and final installment of this year’s Batman LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes sets. LEGO understandably did not reveal everything at the New York Toy Fair last February so fans can have something to look forward to (and to speculate about in fan forums delightfully) during the next few months. The wait is finally over since we have our first official set image of LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman: Rescue from Ra’s al Ghul 76056.

[]

[]

Thanks to a tip from Brick Toy News, we found out that Amazon’s Japanese website has already listed 76056 for pre-order, with a projected release date of June 3. As you may have noticed, there is no piece count yet for this set with a price of 6,548 Japanese Yen roughly equivalent to $59.57. This is quite high for a set that somehow has a piece count that falls between that of LEGO DC Comics Superheroes Batman: Scarecrow Harvest of Fear 76054 (which is at 563 pieces retailing at $59.99) and of Spider-Man: Ghost Rider Team Up 76058 (217 pieces at $19.99). Brickset already added Batman: Rescue from Ra’s al Ghul 76056 to its database with a retail price of $39.99.

76056 is a catch in itself considering that we have three new minifigures that come with it: Talia Al Ghul, Ra’s Al Ghul, and a new brownish-tan, Desert Batman. Robin, on the other hand, seems to be the same Robin minifigure as seen from LEGO Batman: The Joker Steam Roller 76013 with an additional hood or headpiece element. The Ra’s Al Ghul minifig looks very similar to what has been reported to us by just2good a couple of weeks ago. The minifig also seems to be dual-sided as seen from the box art.

[]

[]

We hope to see high-resolution images of 76056 anytime soon, similar to what we have shown so far for the rest of the 2016 Summer LEGO Super Heroes and Star Wars releases. For now, we are still watching out for the remaining LEGO Super Heroes sets that are expected to be released as part of the final wave of summer releases which include the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum (76060), and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Captain America: Civil War Set #4 (76067).

We’ll keep you posted for more updates so be sure to stay tuned here at the Brick Show.

Master The Force with These Building Instructions for TRU’s Build and Take Home LEGO Micro Millennium Falcon

May the 4th may well be over, but it doesn’t mean we can’t relive the fun of building our piece of LEGO Star Wars history. So in case you missed out on LEGO Store’s May the 4th “Escape the Space Slug” exclusive, you’ll be happy to know that you can build one on your own through these building instructions courtesy of Promobricks.

On a similar note and as their share of joining in the Star Wars Day festivities, all Toys R Us stores in the US launched a LEGO Build and Take Home exclusive last Saturday, May 7, a week after TRU stores in Canada launched a similar event. The exclusive 44-piece LEGO build to be taken home for qualifying participants (children ages below 14) is a mini-build of the Star Wars Millennium Falcon. It’s a pretty simple build consisting of relatively common pieces, but considering that this is given away for free (and of course It’s LEGO), the appeal is irresistible. Understandably, it doesn’t come in a polybag but TRU was kind enough to throw in a Star Wars booklet and a poster.

[]

[]

[]

If you are into mini or micro-scale building, then you will also be happy to know that the building instructions for this Millennium Falcon are now available to download, thanks to the folks over at Hoth Bricks. Coming at 44 pieces, this particular rendition is quite easy to build, and everything that you need for this mini-build may already be stashed underneath your pile of bricks. These will also come in cheap over at Bricklink if you want to replicate the model exactly as it is. Here’s a scanned image of the building instructions as shared by Hoth Bricks. You may also download a higher-resolution copy from their Flickr page.

[]

For the uber-serious collector who will only settle for the original as they were given away in TRU, you may always head over to eBay in case someone will list these exclusives up for grabs.

Thanks, Hoth Bricks for the tip.
