Though the LEGO DOTS theme is, unfortunately, ending, there are still some things to look forward to for the fans of the theme. As revealed earlier, we can expect a new set that tie-ins with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – the first now being the LEGO DOTS Hedwig Pencil Holder (41809).
The reveal came by way of another LEGO building instructions entry at LEGO’s customer service portal. Details are scant as of now since this latest LEGO DOTS Hedwig set is not yet accessible via LEGO.com. But from the looks of it, we have the iconic white owl rendered in bricks and pieces, given with a functional look.
This set is expected to clock in at 518 pieces and will retail for around 19 Euros or $20. It s also expected to be one of the three LEGO DOTS that is dedicated to the Harry Potter licensed theme. And given that it has already made an appearance via LEGO’s website it may suggest that an official reveal might soon be on the way.
I’ll update this post once more info comes in. Thanks to Hoth Bricks for the heads-up.
LEGO fans of the galaxy far away will be glad to know that more LEGO Star Wars Helmets 2023 are slated to be offered this first quarter of the year.
In case you missed it, LEGO.com has launched its latest addition to its LEGO Star Wars Helmets series to celebrate 20 years of the Star Wars Clone Wars era. And just in time for their physical debut at this year’s Nuremberg Toy Fair from February 1 to 6, 2023, we can now catch a glimpse of this latest subtheme offering.
More LEGO Star Wars Helmets 2023 Officially Revealed!

The famous bounty hunter disguise was worn by the Rebel Alliance leader as they infiltrated Jabba the Hut’s lair. As part of the LEGO Star Wars Helmets 2023 series, this brick-built model also serves as another milestone as the Star Wars fandom celebrates the 40th anniversary of the film.
These LEGO Star Wars Helmets 2023 series are scheduled to be released on March 1, 2023, with the option to pre-order for $70. Check out the official descriptions and images of these collectibles below. You may also place your pre-order via these affiliate links.

Now that the LEGO Ideas Third 2022 Review Stage has been wrapped up, we are now seeing the initial batch of product ideas that managed to gather that needed 10K support to be included in the First 2023 LEGO Ideas Review Stage. Here’s a look at some of the product ideas that may turn out to be the next official LEGO Ideas set.
Right off the bat, I have to say that I am personally cheering for Ashnflash’s Shrek’s Swamp – 20th Anniversary set and the Retro Comic Store by LEGOverwatch. Ashnflash LEGO Ideas concept was an overnight success considering that an official LEGO set inspired by Dreamwork’s iconic green ogre can potentially become a tie-in set to celebrate this 2oth anniversary milestone. The recent box office success of the Shrek spin-off Puss in Boots: The Last Wish also catapulted this proposed set to 10K stardom.
Another product idea that I hope to see become a reality is the Retro Comic Store. It will be a great addition to any LEGO City MOC and other LEGO modular sets. It is also cool to see some vintage comic book titles rendered into printed LEGO titles, similar to our custom LEGO 2×2 printed tiles that we offer at our official storefront.
In any case, I hope for the success of all these product ideas as they enter this year’s LEGO Ideas First 2023 Review Stage. In no particular order, here are the initial batch of this year’s LEGO Ideas qualifiers. Click on their respective links below to learn more about these potential LEGO Ideas sets.
We’re still months away before we see the return of one of the greatest film heroes of all time on the big screen. But as early as now, it seems that we’ll be seeing LEGO renditions of the great Dr. Henry Walton Jones Jr. any time soon. Irish toy store Smyth Toys has just confirmed that a LEGO Indiana Jones 2023 set will arrive in April this year.
LEGO Indiana Jones 2023 Sets Coming Soon?
Shared by Max Bornicke from LEGO fan site Promobricks, the reveal came by way of a LEGO catalog made available at a Smyth Toys store. There have been several rumors as early as the first half of 2022 that the popular LEGO theme is making a comeback in line with the release of the latest film in the franchise, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. In case you missed it, here’s the official trailer.
Since LEGO created tie-in sets for the franchise back in 2008, the theme managed to create 18 sets (including a polybag and an SDCC exclusive) spanning all four films (Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade, and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull). And after almost 15 years, we will see this LEGO theme revived for fans of the LEGO theme.
Max was kind enough to show a portion of this announcement via the LEGO catalog as you see below.

The April launch might be a regional exclusive since Promobricks reports that retailers from other countries mentioned a June 2023 release from their side. This is expected since the tie-in film will have a theatrical release on June 30, 2023. We just have to wait and see what LEGO has in store until then. In the meantime, be sure to keep in touch and bookmark our website for future announcements about these upcoming LEGO Indiana Jones sets.
Disney will mark its 100th anniversary this 2023 and LEGO is sharing in the festivities by launching several LEGO Disney tie-in sets. And this included the much-anticipated LEGO 100 Years of Disney Collectible Minifigures (71038).
While the recently released LEGO CMF Series 24 (71037) still enjoys a lot of attention, LEGO fans and completionists are now setting their eyes on the next series expected to be released in May. And rumors have it that 18 unforgettable Disney characters will grace the upcoming LEGO 100 Years of Disney Collectible Minifigures. According to the Back 2 Brickpodcast as reported by Promobricks, this upcoming series will feature the following Disney characters in their minifigure versions.
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit (from classic Disney shorts)
This is a very impressive list if I may say since it’s not an easy feat to select which characters will get the LEGO minifigure treatment. Though I was hoping as well to see an official Snow White minifigure thrown in in this series, considering that LEGO has already released the classic Disney Princess’ Duplo and minidoll iterations.
The four-armed Stitch is number 1 on my list being a fan of Experiment 626 myself. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is probably next considering the influence of the iconic animated character on Disney’s later characters.
So what do you think of this rumored LEGO 100 Years of Disney Collectible Minifigures? Do you think there are other characters that should have been included? Let me know in the comments below.
The second trailer of MCU’s initial Phase 5 film has been released with plenty of details that hint at the challenges awaiting our quantum heroes. We’re still over a month from its theatrical release, and LEGO seems to be holding the lid pretty tight on its upcoming LEGO Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania tie-in sets. In case you missed it, here’s the film’s most recent trailer:
There’s plenty to unpack in this latest trailer, with Marvel Studios providing us with more details on the impending struggle between Kang and Scott Lang’s Ant-Man, and the motivation behind their actions that will propel the MCU further into its Multiversal Saga. We also get a better look at some of the film’s main characters and potential LEGO Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania minifigures that may go along with it. LEGO usually reveals any of its movie tie-ins a month or two before the film’s release.
But Phase 5’s debut film might prove to be an exception, considering how massive and profound Quantumania will be for the future of the MCU. So we’re probably looking at a release date of its official LEGO set sometime toward the end of this month.
Historically, the last two previous Ant-Man films each got one LEGO Marvel Super Heroes set. But with last year’s MCU films receiving 2-3 LEGO tie-in sets, and considering that Quantumania is the final solo act of our tiny Avenger, then it’s not a longshot to think that we might receive more than 1 LEGO set for this latest MCU offering.
While waiting for its official press release, here’s my take on some of the LEGO Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania minifigures that LEGO may reveal anytime soon.
Scott and Cassie Lang, and Hope Van Dyne
This is a no-brainer and the reason why I believe that there could be more than one LEGO Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania set that will be revealed soon. I’m quite positive that Scott, Cassie, and Hope’s minifigures will be included in the roster, but they will not be included in one set. It has been LEGO’s strategy with licensed minifigure characters (especially in the case of Marvel and DC) to distribute them across sets to maximize the sales of the theme.
I also expect to see a new design for Ant-Man and Wasp, while collectors will undoubtedly look forward to that purple minifigure iteration of Cassie.
And no LEGO Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania set will be complete without villainous Kang the Conqueror. Marvel Studios did an excellent job of rendering Jonathan Major’s Kang the Conqueror on the big screen. It is also fantastic to have our first minifigure version of him with and without his iconic helmet and glowing blue face shield.
MODOK
MODOK (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing) has been around in LEGO form since 2014 with Avengers: Hulk Smash (76018) and Avengers Helicarrier (76153). And it will be great to see a third minifigure version of this superpowered cybernetic bighead.
I definitely prefer the single-piece version of his minifigure, as seen in Avengers: Hulk Smash, rather than a printed half-circular wall element for his face. The only question is if LEGO will also include a battle-ready version of him, complete with the gold armor we saw from the trailer.
I strongly feel that Kang’s henchmen will also get the minifigure treatment and be included in an official LEGO set. In case you noticed, these faceless foot soldiers were also placed front and center in the newest poster of the film. Unlike MCU’s previous gnarly-looking henchmen (such as the Chitauri), these quantum foot soldiers are more reminiscent of how Mysterio’s minifigure looks like.
I bet these upcoming LEGO Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania sets will feature Kang’s time-ship and another one that might focus on that scene where MODOK is included. I guess we have to wait for the next couple of weeks until we finally see what LEGO has in the works.
Just a couple of days ago, several LEGO Technic March 2023 sets were unveiled via the LEGO Kidz Zone app. And as expected, these sets are now up and listed at LEGO’s online shopping portal with more details, better images, and a March release date instead of April.
Initially, four sets were revealed. But for now, LEGO shows off three of these, with the Firefighter Aircraft (42152) set still waiting to have its official product listing. Among these sets, I have to say that the Batcycle is a must-have for me. Not only does it capture the feel of its cinematic replica from last year’s DC film, but its stunning all-black color motif is also something to be desired.
Check out the rest of this wave’s official images below and let me in the comments what your thoughts are about this selection of new LEGO Technic sets.

This year marks the 100th year founding anniversary of the largest entertainment company in the world. And to celebrate the occasion, LEGO has just revealed its next brick tribute in the form of the LEGO BrickHeadz Disney 100th Celebration (40622) set.
Featuring brick renditions of the four most iconic characters in the history of Disney, each of them represents a particular milestone in the life of the company. We have the very first official LEGO version of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit touted to be Walt Disney’s first original character; the great mouse himself, Mickey, being Disney’s first animated character; Snow White as one of the original Disney Princesses and the first to have a featured film; and Tinker Bell as the company’s first Disneyland mascot.
The LEGO BrickHeadz Disney 100th Celebration (40622) joins the roster of other Disney-inspired sets for 2023 and is scheduled to be released next month. Read on for its full product description and you may click on the following affiliate link for more information.
Help kids aged 10+ celebrate Disney with this LEGO® BrickHeadz™ | Disney 100th Celebration (40622) set, featuring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit (Disney’s first character), Mickey Mouse (the first ever animated character), Snow White (the star of Disney’s first feature film), and Tinker Bell – the first Disneyland® mascot. We’re just counting the days before the first wave of LEGO 2023 sets is out. And in case you haven’t finalized your LEGO 2023 wishlist, then you may want to hear what the LEGO fan community has to say. Because thanks to Brickset’s one of many interesting features, you can somehow gauge the sentiment of other equally excited LEGO fan builders and get to see what are the most wanted LEGO sets of 2023 according to Brickset members.
If you wish to know what sets to prioritize this January, then read on and take a look at the top 15 most wanted LEGO sets for 2023. Bear in mind that this is the most accurate data as of this posting, and there will be slight changes as we wrap up this year. However, I believe that these changes may not be that significant to change the ranking of these sets.
Check out these most popular LEGO 2023 sets starting at 1st place and in descending order of likes or being the most wanted.
Frankly speaking, this is a cool mix of sets that shows how diverse the interests of our LEGO fan community are. Love them or hate them (I know most of us find it difficult to appreciate that Morbius film, but hey, we still get to see our first minifigure of our vampire superhero probably because of that), these sets are quite attractive not just because of the themes that they represent but also the new parts and elements that they introduce. This is particularly true, especially in the case of LEGO City sets 60384 and 60394 where we get to see a new minifigure costume and otter element. Additionally, in the case of licensed LEGO themes such as Star Wars, LSW fans are certainly hyped for the much-awaited 501st Clone Trooper minifigures (75345) and a new and aptly sized TIE Bomber (75347).
And since a large chunk of LEGO’s market is geared towards the AFOL community, it is somewhat expected to see the first modular set of 2023 make it at the top of this list. The LEGO Icons Jazz Club (10312) is the king of the hill for the majority of Brickset members even if it means shelling out $230 for this 2,800-piece set.
In the final analysis, consider this list as a guide to knowing what is hot and not for 2023 among LEGO fans. But in the end, you decide on which among these most wanted LEGO sets will it to your final “add-to-cart” list. So what do you think? Are there other LEGO 2023 sets that you want to see in this top 15 list? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

On top of these, we are also getting 4 sets that put the spotlight on the activities in the individual quarters of the four houses of Hogwarts. LEGO even added a bit of magic to its design by adding a lenticular feature on each of the set’s backboards giving it a 3D-like illusion of the windows and paintings.
