Early this month, we covered the reveal of the first LEGO polybags noted to be coming next year. Already we at The Brick Show felt that this batch of 2022 polys would only be the tip of the iceberg. Indeed they were, even if that was barely a surprise. Small and simple as they are, multiple unique LEGO polybags can be churned out in a year. Promobricks.de gives us word of these new reveals, courtesy of brickdex.io, a new price comparison platform. We’ve got multiple polybags under major LEGO themes unlike last time. There’s still no word however on which polybags will sell in-store and which are promo items only.
Want to get a head start on collecting LEGO sets but can’t be bothered to hunt them down individually? You could always keep an eye out for the bundles. LEGO and its retail partners tend to release them every once in a while. Just last month, Walmart gave us three LEGO Marvel “Mech Armor” sets in an affordable 3-in-1 Pack (66671). The arctic base LEGO City sets from a few years ago also got bundled courtesy of LEGO.com UK in 2018. It’s their corner of the LEGO online store that brings us this new collection of sets from LEGO Disney.
Brick Fanatics tells us that LEGO.com for UK now lists a Disney Princess Ultimate Celebration Bundle (5007204). Sounds cool for a Disney fan, huh? Then again, the bundle consists of just one LEGO Disney Princess set. The other sets are from the LEGO DOTS theme, plus two Disney key-chains and two early 2021 VIP rewards. Consider this list of contents:
All these could be had from LEGO UK at £74.99/€84.99. Adding the individual prices of the above gives us the total £92.93/€103.93, so the bundle price is a good deal. The LEGO Disney Princess Ultimate Celebration Bundle (5007204) is available now, ahead of Black Friday. If you’re in the UK and fancy these items then it’s best to get the bundle now. Getting two VIP rewards is a nice bonus.
As LEGO began to roll out its wave ofnewsets this 2nd half of 2021, it is also expected that the company will begin clearing out from its shelves (both from its physical stores and online) several of its previous sets that are expected to reach its end of life very soon. Retiring LEGO sets are almost always of particular interest to the LEGO fan community, considering that most of us still have that one set that we are looking forward to ticking out from our LEGO must-have bucket list. And recently, Stone Wars have released a very comprehensive list of all the retiring LEGO sets that are expected to quietly exit or may have exited already, from LEGO stores and online, during the 1st half of this year.
The list of these retiring LEGO sets for H1 2021 is presented here. In case you’re interested, you may click on the following LEGO Shop@Home affiliate links below to check out their current availability. Some of these sets may be temporarily out of stock or tagged as already sold out as I’ve checked a while ago as of this posting. Nevertheless, it is still helpful to check if your expected LEGO set is still included in this listing.
Just a disclaimer though – like previously retired LEGO sets, this list is not 100% accurate considering how fast these retiring LEGO sets might sell out. So I encourage you to do a quick search over at LEGO Shop@Home. A huge thanks to Stone Wars once again for sharing and verifying this list.
If you missed it, the LEGO Online Store has been updated to include a new promotional. From May 23 to June 30, 2021, the LEGO DOTS Photo Holder Cube (30557) will be added to your shopping cart for free for a minimum single-receipt purchase of any LEGO DOTS, VIDIYO or Friends sets worth $40 and above.
This is a welcome surprise, especially for fans of the relatively new LEGO DOTS theme. The Photo Holder Cube was not mentioned in the May 2021 LEGO Store Calendar, so it’s nice to see LEGO throwing in a bit of LEGO shopping incentive.
Coming in at 109 pieces, the LEGO DOTS Photo Holder Cube (30557) features a customizable display set perfect for those small-sized photos or just even a note placeholder. And with the introduction of the latest wave of LEGO Summer 2021 sets, then there’s plenty of reasons to get that next LEGO set on your wishlist. Be sure to visit LEGO Shop@Home for more details.
LEGO servers have been updated to now include several LEGO DOTS summer 2021 sets arriving in August. These sets follow the LEGO DOTS Bag Tag Collection that was released last March.

Following the official LEGO Star Wars images released by Bulgarian online store Comsed, we now have more images coming from the LEGO DOTS and LEGO Friends March 2021 line-up coming from the same third-party retailer. Our brick-minded friends from Promobricks managed to round up several, crisp images of what I am personally looking forward to as a LEGO collector. And thankfully, we now have an idea of what we can expect for next year’s collection of LEGO 2021 polybags.
From the looks of it, it seems that each particular LEGO theme will once offer a new polybag – from home-grown themes to licensed ones, each of these LEGO 2021 polybags offers a mini-scale version of a particular set in its upcoming subtheme (like in the case of the new LEGO Ninjagoand DOTS series) or expands your collection of useful LEGO pieces. Such is the case for the LEGO City Pop-Up Store (30569), considering the printed tile pieces that go with it.
They’re not usually listed over at LEGO Shop@Home, though you can find them in your local LEGO brand store and other third-party retailers as well. Expect these polys to be around starting January and throughout the first quarter of 2021, retailing for $4.99. Which one of these will you pick up? Let us know in the comments below.

UPDATE: It seems that the LEGO Catalog H1 2021 has been uploaded by mistake since it is no longer available to download from LEGO’s servers.
LEGO has uploaded the digital version of its LEGO Catalog H1 2021 (January to May 2021), and with it comes more LEGO sets that are expected to arrive during the 1st quarter of 2021. From the looks of it, LEGO still has plenty of surprises in store, other than what we know so far coming from its 2021 lineup of sets (e.g. those coming from its various non-licensed themes such City, Creator, Ninjago, and Friends among others).
Needless to say, the LEGO Catalog H1 2021 fills in some of the gaps that are noticeably missing in the upcoming sets that were revealed last time. Let’s take a look at some of these additional sets, all of which are slated to be available in February and March. I’ll keep you posted once these sets are listed over at LEGO Shop@Home.

LEGO CMF Series 22
We’re still counting the weeks before LEGO CMF Series 21 (71029) is released in January, and from the looks of it, LEGO is giving us a treat in May with the reveal of its CMF Series 22. There’s no word yet on the brick street on what this next wave of collectible minifigs will be, but given LEGO’s previous CMF releases, we can expect that this is most likely to come from a licensed theme. Marvel Superheroes perhaps? Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

LEGO Creator Safari Wildlife Treehouse (31116)

There’s very scant information regarding this upcoming theme, but from the looks of it, this series will somewhat include some musical play function. We can also expect around 7 sets dedicated to the theme.
Third-party LEGO retailer Van der Meulen continues the stream of LEGO reveals, and this time around coming from LEGO’s newest line of decorative sets and wearables. Introduced during the first quarter of this year, the LEGO DOTS theme has proven to be popular with young children, with its customizable wearables and decorative sets, plus lots of tile pieces! And for January 2021, we can expect more from LEGO coming from this line. Take a look at these images.
