Following the official LEGO Star Wars images released by Bulgarian online store Comsed, we now have more images coming from the LEGO DOTS and LEGO Friends March 2021 line-up coming from the same third-party retailer. Our brick-minded friends from Promobricks managed to round up several, crisp images of what I am personally looking forward to as a LEGO collector. And thankfully, we now have an idea of what we can expect for next year’s collection of LEGO 2021 polybags.
From the looks of it, it seems that each particular LEGO theme will once offer a new polybag – from home-grown themes to licensed ones, each of these LEGO 2021 polybags offers a mini-scale version of a particular set in its upcoming subtheme (like in the case of the new LEGO Ninjagoand DOTS series) or expands your collection of useful LEGO pieces. Expect these polys to be around starting January and throughout the first quarter of 2021, retailing for $4.99. Which one of these will you pick up? Let us know in the comments below.

UPDATE: It seems that the LEGO Catalog H1 2021 has been uploaded by mistake since it is no longer available to download from LEGO’s servers.
LEGO has uploaded the digital version of its LEGO Catalog H1 2021 (January to May 2021), and with it comes more LEGO sets that are expected to arrive during the 1st quarter of 2021. From the looks of it, LEGO still has plenty of surprises in store, other than what we know so far coming from its 2021 lineup of sets (e.g. those coming from its various non-licensed themes such City, Creator, Ninjago, and Friends among others).
Needless to say, the LEGO Catalog H1 2021 fills in some of the gaps that are noticeably missing in the upcoming sets that were revealed last time. Let’s take a look at some of these additional sets, all of which are slated to be available in February and March. I’ll keep you posted once these sets are listed over at LEGO Shop@Home.

There’s very scant information regarding this upcoming theme, but from the looks of it, this series will somewhat include some musical play function. We can also expect around 7 sets dedicated to the theme.
Following the reveal of 2021’s first wave of LEGO City and LEGO Creator 3-in-1 sets, let’s now take a look at this collection of LEGO Friends 2021 sets also scheduled to be released in January 2021. At the stroke of midnight on January 1st, this wave of LEGO Friends sets will be available at LEGO’s online store and other retailers.
As you may have noticed, other than expanding the existing current line of LEGO sets that highlights the adventures of our Heartlake City residents, LEGO Friends also continues its Play Cubes series which it introduced earlier this year. This time around, the Play Cubes now include some of LEGO Friends’ most adorable play pets in a mystery pack. Well to be accurate, it’s not really a sort of a blind bag or something considering that the packaging itself is already a giveaway on what LEGO animal figure is included in the Play Cube. However, it is kind of exciting to think that this could also mean that we might be seeing a new LEGO piece for a flamingo, dalmatian, a pug, and a cat. Historically, the LEGO Friends theme has been known to introduce new animal figures in most of its series such as those offered from its animal rescue series released during the first half of this year. So basically it’s not a longshot to consider if this will also be the case for these LEGO Friends 2021 sets.
It is also interesting to point out that LEGO is quite intentional in adding features and details to these sets that underscore the company’s emphasis on being environmentally responsible. Other than inspiring children to take care of animals, these sets also introduce the concepts of having an environmentally sustainable lifestyle such as using an electric car, utilizing solar panels in powering up houses, and patronizing organic produce.
Similar to this year’s wave of LEGO Friends Play Cubes, we can also expect that this 2021 series will probably have the same price point of around $10 each. They are not yet listed over at LEGO Shop@Home as of this posting, but we can expect these sets to appear on LEGO’s online shopping website anytime soon. Thanks once again to 3rd-party retailer Van der Meulen for uploading these images over at their site. For now, let’s take a look at what these sets have to offer.
Its August 1st, and it can only mean that more LEGO sets are now put on display at your local brand LEGO store (in case they’re now open) and over at LEGO Shop@Home. And this month, it seems that LEGO has the adult fan community in mind when it launched its impressive wave of LEGO 18+ sets, catering to the more discerning LEGO hobbyist in mind.
Since LEGO began introducing its 18+ sets branding with the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection, the LEGO Group made it a point to offer larger, more sophisticated sets to the AFOL (Adult Fans of LEGO) community. And since then, we’ve seen a steady increase of sets representing each of LEGO’s current themes.
Just to be sure that everything is covered though, LEGO has also released other sets intended for all ages coming from its various licensed and homegrown themes. With 55 new sets offered this month (as per Brickset’s count), I’m pretty sure there is something that will catch your fancy. We have a handful of new sets coming from other LEGO themes such as Star Wars, Super Mario, Harry Potter, Technic, Friends, City, Ninjago, Hidden Side and my personal favorite, Monkie Kid. Take note that depending on your region, some of these sets might still be released on a later date.
Check out these LEGO 18+ sets now available at LEGO’s online shopping portal. And if you wish to add them to your LEGO must-have list for this month, be kind enough to click on the following affiliate links below to support our work here in The Brick Show. Read on and happy building!
Following the reveal of the LEGO City Advent Calendar (60268), LEGO online retailer Mein Spielzeug has also shared images of the next seasonal set in this series. Take a look at the LEGO Friends Advent Calendar 2020 (41420) and on what it has to offer.
This seasonal set is expected to arrive in September and will retail for $29.99. It is not yet listed at LEGO Shop@Home as of this posting, but I reckon it can be up at the LEGO shopping portal anytime soon. For now, let’s check out the following set images and it’s corresponding product description. Please take note that this is a rough Google translation so pardon me if there might be some confusing words or phrases.
LEGO Friends Advent Calendar (41420)
236 pieces | $29.99
Sweeten up the pre-Christmas season with the LEGO® Friends heroines! Open a door every day from December 1st to discover a new toy behind it. The toys fit into 3 sets: Emma’s nursery, Santa’s workshop, and a winter landscape. Tell your own Christmas story: First Emma writes a wish list for Santa, then the elves build the toy and finally Emma plays in the snow with her new gifts.
The LEGO® Friends Advent Calendar (41420) shortens the wait for Christmas. Every door hides a new gift that children can assemble. The 24 models enable Christmas role-playing games and also enrich every room as Christmas decorations.
The advent calendar for children contains Emma, Mrs. Santa Claus, and 2 elves as LEGO® Friends play figures as well as a toy penguin and many other cool Christmas surprises as building models. Some of the models even have fun moving functions.
Children can not only use the models as Christmas decorations but also makeup stories in the individual settings – in the LEGO® Friends heroine Emma’s room, in Santa’s workshop, and in a winter landscape – that inspire creative play adventures.
The 236-piece set is a great pre-Christmas gift for children who will be thrilled by an advent calendar that will give them a long time after the first moments of surprise. Children from 6 years old can assemble simple models independently.
The box is 25 cm high, 37 cm wide and 6 cm deep and can be set up safely. Children can give their other LEGO® models a Christmas touch because the great toys can be combined with all LEGO sets.
Similar to previous offerings this year’s LEGO Friends Advent Calendar 2020 tells a particular holiday story from the eyes of our Heartlake heroines. From the looks of it, the entire 24 mini-sets feature Emma’s nursery, Santa’s workshop, and an overall winter landscape. The set also comes with four mini-dolls which include Emma, Mrs. Santa, and two elves.
As a side note, it is also worth saying that Mein Spielzeug has also posted images of the LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar 2020 (75981). However, they were also quick to take it down, obviously because it is still on an embargo. You can do a Google search for this if you’re raring to see what this set has to offer, including what seems to be exclusive minifigures offered in this set. Interestingly, set 75981 also has the same release date of September 1, so I’m hoping that LEGO will officially reveal this anytime soon.
Lastly, we can also expect the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (75279) to be released around this time. Both this and the LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar 2020 will retail for $39.99 each, similar to last year’s offering.
Earlier this month, we caught a glimpse of things to come for the LEGO Friends summer 2020 lineup of sets, including an interesting mix of new LEGO pieces and animal figures. This time, LEGO has updated its servers and adds two additional LEGO Friends sets slated to be released next month.

Back in January, LEGO gave us some early hints on what we can expect from the LEGO Friends summer 2020 sets, and now more info is starting to pour in. Thanks to third-party LEGO retailer Lucky Bricks, we now get to see what some of these sets have to offer.
Two sets, in particular, might be of interest to most LEGO fans and builders considering the new elements and pieces that go with them.
Check out the new transparent tube elements included in the LEGO Friends Summer Fun Water Park (41430), scheduled to arrive in June.
The LEGO Friends Summer Fun Water Park (41430) is said to come in at 1,001 pieces and will retail for €99.99 making it the largest set in this series. As I’ve mentioned in one of my reports of the Nuremberg Toy Fair, LEGO will be introducing some pretty interesting new pieces together with this new line of LEGO Friends Summer 2020 sets. Most prominent in this set is the use of new transparent tube elements used for the water slide. There’s a lot of potential for this new piece especially considering that it is large enough to have a minifigure or even a minidoll fit inside of it.
There’s a new elephant in town, and it looks awesome in this LEGO Friends Jungle Rescue Base (41424) building set.
The LEGO Friends Jungle Rescue Base (41424) also boasts of new molds and pieces, coming in at 648 pieces with an expected retail price of €79.99. Perhaps the obvious selling point of this set will be the new mother and child elephant figures that go along with it. Both of these figures seem to be made of a single, solid figure usually found in many LEGO Duplo sets. It’s a great addition, in my opinion, to mashup such Duplo-like figures with standard LEGO sets.
Both of these LEGO Friends Summer 2020 sets are expected to arrive in LEGO Stores and at LEGO Shop@Home starting in June. We’re still looking forward to more LEGO set reveals in the next few weeks, so stay tuned, stay home, and be safe! Thanks to Promobricks for more info.
The LEGO Friends Play Cubes Series 1 has just been released at the start of the year, and it looks like LEGO is all prepped to release another wave of these sets. The LEGO Booth at the New York Toy Fair took the opportunity of showcasing their LEGO Friends Play Cubes Series 2, with five additional sets scheduled to be released on April 1, 2020.
The Brothers Brick managed to snap some images of these sets, including a closer look at what we can expect from them. Retailing for $9.99 each similar to its predecessors, this next wave of LEGO Friends Play Cubes features several new pieces, particularly those of animal plush toy figures. I guess this is now becoming a trend with younger LEGO fans as LEGO finds out through their market research.
The LEGO Friends Play Cubes Series 2 centers on a shopping theme that includes a minidoll and a mystery animal plush which I assume is not so mysterious any more after this reveal. Though I’m not that much of a fan of the LEGO Friends theme, I appreciate what LEGO did here by including a set of four animal plush figures on each of Play Cube. The cool part is that these animal plush figures are based on new molds and colors.
Check out these images for a closer look and be sure to check with LEGO Shop@Home any time soon for more details. All images are courtesy of our friends from The Brothers Brick.
