Completing the Scene
To complete this remarkable tribute, you can attach the nameplate, which proudly displays the set’s name, and place the Galileo Galilei Minifigure in the scene. In a new exciting development for fans, the LEGO Group has officially unveiled three new iconic LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog 2024 minifigures. The reveal was made via LEGO’s social media, sending ripples of excitement throughout the LEGO Sonic community.
More LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog 2024 Sets on the Horizon
Pricevortex has once updated its listing to include two highly anticipated LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog 2024 sets namely: Shadows Lab Escape (76995) and Knuckles Mech Battle (76996). This not only hints at the thrilling adventures these sets promise but also opens the door to the possibility of more Sonic-inspired minifigures being introduced.
This year, LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog fans were ecstatic to witness the return of the legendary Blue Blur himself after debuting in the now-discontinued LEGO Dimensions theme and making a brief comeback in the LEGO Ideas Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone (21331). Alongside Sonic, fans were treated to the delightful minifigure renditions of Dr. Eggman, Amy, and Tails.
Three New Additions to the Sonic Minifigure Family
Adding to the excitement, the LEGO Group has unveiled the arrival of three brand-new LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog 2024 minifigures. These additions have been met with immense enthusiasm from the Sonic fanbase. The arrival of these three new Sonic minifigure characters was accompanied by a teaser that humorously blames Dr. Eggman for their delayed introduction. The trio includes Knuckles, Shadow, and Rouge the Bat.
Take a look at the teaser below:
The team is working hard to fix this matter as fast as possible.
Thankfully, this teaser allows us to have a sneak peek at what to expect from these latest LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog 2024 minifigures and their distinctive designs.
Knuckles: The Strong Echidna
Knuckles, a red echidna, is not only one of Sonic’s closest allies but also a former rival. His strength, marked by the spikes on his fists, sets him apart from Sonic and Tails, who rely on agility and speed. This unique character has earned the nickname “Knuckles” for his formidable power, and his minifigure version perfectly captures all of these traits as well.
Shadow: The Enigmatic Hedgehog
Shadow, a black hedgehog, lives up to his name by often serving as a dark foil to Sonic. He frequently assumes the role of an antagonist, though he occasionally allies with our beloved hero. Shadow also boasts unique leg printing, right down to his gold-toed trainers.
Rouge the Bat: A Vivid Character
Rouge the Bat, as her name suggests, is a bat with striking purple wings. Her design is the most captivating of the trio, featuring vibrant colors that replicate her distinctive blue makeup and various heart motifs on both her torso and feet.

For those eagerly awaiting these minifigures’ release, the LEGO Group has provided a sneak peek of what’s to come. Editors Note: This post has been updated to reflect the release date of the LEGO Ideas the Orient Express 21344 to be December 1 instead of November, as confirmed by LEGO.
It looks like LEGO still has a lot of things in store as we approach the end of the year. And in case you missed it, we can now have a sneak peek of the highly anticipated LEGO Ideas The Orient Express 21344 which is slated to arrive this December, consisting of more than 2,500 pieces.
The LEGO Ideas The Orient Express and the Road to 10K
Thanks to LEGO’s official catalog, we’re now granted an early preview of the much-anticipated set. This stunning brick-built train set boasts an impressive 2,540 pieces, promising a fulfilling building experience for LEGO aficionados.
Do take note that as of this posting though, it seems that LEGO backtracked on their supposed reveal and has decided to update the said digital catalog, removing the page dedicated to the reveal of the LEGO Ideas The Orient Express. As such, LEGO.com is yet to list the LEGO Ideas The Orient Express, but we can expect an official reveal anytime soon.
A Remarkable Transformation
LEGO Ideas projects often undergo significant transformations from their initial concepts to the final products available in stores. The LEGO Ideas Orient Express is a prime example of this evolution. The version set to launch this fall differs substantially from the original Ideas campaign model, embracing a more whimsical approach while retaining a touch of its old-school charm.
A Palette of Change
Another notable change is its color scheme. The initial fan-submitted model by Thomas Lajon featured a green engine design, while the rear passenger car was dark blue. In the final product design, the LEGO Ideas Design Team opted for an all-encompassing dark blue theme. This modification brings a new level of coherence to the model, enhancing its overall aesthetic appeal.
All Aboard!
Another exciting alteration is the addition of an extra passenger car to the engine. The original model included only one passenger car, but the LEGO Ideas Design Team decided that more was merrier. Consequently, the set now includes a total of eight minifigures, ensuring ample interior space for creative play.
LEGO Ideas The Orient Express – Availability and Release Date
Be sure to mark December 1 on your calendar because that’s when the LEGO Ideas The Orient Express train will officially be available. Expected to retail for $300, this lovely set comes complete with a track display stand, making it an ideal choice for display enthusiasts. While it lacks motorized functionality, it remains fully compatible with existing LEGO train setups. Let’s hope LEGO will also offer some Power Functions to this set later on after its official reveal.
The official unveiling of this remarkable creation is just around the corner. LEGO traditionally reserves major reveals for Tuesdays or Thursdays. So, stay tuned as we await the release of its official product description and high-res images.
The LEGO Ideas The Orient Express Train, with its 2,500 pieces and unique design, promises to be a standout addition to any LEGO collection. It’s a long overdue set, especially for LEGO Train enthusiasts.
Be sure not to miss out on its official launch on December 1, and keep an eye out for more details in the coming days only here at The Brick Show.
After a series of teasers and numerous speculations, LEGO has at long last officially revealed their latest offering: the much-awaited LEGO Animal Crossing sets, inspired by Nintendo’s widely beloved video game series. The enchanting universe of Animal Crossing, which has captured the hearts of countless players, is now making its debut in the form of LEGO bricks, together with other LEGO Nintendo sets.
LEGO Animal Crossing Features Several Scenes and Beloved Characters that Fans Will Surely Adore
In partnership with Nintendo, LEGO has created five unique sets that allow builders to dive headfirst into the charming world of the beloved video game franchise. These sets open up the possibility of crafting various stories within their brick-constructed landscapes.
If you recall, back in 2021, LEGO’s first partnership with Animal Crossing came with a surprising theme. The now-discontinued LEGO Vidiyo characters made an appearance in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons video game. And two years since then, we will be seeing actual LEGO Animal Crossing sets rolled-out during the Q1 of 2024.
This first wave of LEGO Animal Crossing sets has been designed for easy assembly for younger LEGO fans while offering a high degree of customization that other builders and collectors will enjoy.
For example, you can effortlessly switch elements between buildings, even the window frames. Every set can be mixed and matched, giving builders the freedom to curate their own distinct worlds and settings. Plus of course, the lovely minifigures that go with them. These could easily pass as a LEGO Collectible Minifigure series in my opinion.
The new range comprises the following sets:
Julian’s Birthday Bash
In this set, builders can join Julian in a delightful birthday celebration. They can partake in cupcake-sharing and present-opening festivities, adding a personal touch to the party.
Bunnie’s Outdoor Adventures
LEGO Animal Crossing Bunnie’s Outdoor Activities set offers the chance to role-play setting up a tent, roasting marshmallows, and using the vaulting pole to leap across the water, all while grabbing tools reminiscent of the video game series.
Kapp’n’s Island Boat Tour
LEGO and Animal Crossing fans are in for a treat with the LEGO Animal Crossing Kapp’n’s Island Boat Tour. This brick-built adventure allows you to board the boat with Kapp’n and Marshal, embark on a quest for coconuts and bamboo, discover the local wildlife, such as hermit crabs and fish, or simply relax by the fire.
Isabelle’s House Visit
Young LEGO builders can let their creativity shine by assisting Isabelle and Fauna in customizing Fauna’s house. With the LEGO Animal Crossing Isabelle’s House Visit, builders can customize the set by including a plethora of activities like unwrapping balloon presents, crafting tools, and harvesting fruits and flowers.
Nook’s Cranny & Rosies House
This set features two famous landmarks in the Animal Crossing video game. You can join in shopping sprees at Nook’s Cranny shop or savor freshly baked goodies at Rosie’s house.
LEGO Animal Crossing Sets Are Now Up at LEGO.com
The highly-anticipated LEGO Animal Crossing sets will be globally available at all LEGO Stores, various retailers, and LEGO.com beginning March 1, 2024.

In the world of gaming and collectibles, exciting rumors have been circulating for months, hinting at an epic series of LEGO Fortnite sets. While the exact details remain shrouded in mystery, one thing is clear – a collaboration of two beloved brands is on the horizon.
Check out the latest buzz on what LEGO and Fortnite fans can look forward to in 2024.
LEGO Fortnite: A Glimpse of the Future
The excitement skyrocketed when fellow LEGO blogger The Brick Fan shared an intriguing find. A smaller replica of a LEGO Fortnite Llama has made its appearance online. And for what it seems, this small but very familiar brick-built figure may be a part of a broader collection of LEGO Fortnite sets slated to hit the shelves in 2024. Interestingly, this aligns with previous rumors suggesting that LEGO content won’t grace the Fortnite universe until after Season 5.
LEGO Fortnite concept art courtesy of FortniteBRFeed via YouTube.
Clues in the Brick
To be precise, one can find on LEGO’s official product certification page, a listing for set number 5008257. If you’re a seasoned Fortnite player, you’ll immediately notice that it bears a striking resemblance to the Supply Llama that randomly spawns on the game map. The size of this LEGO set suggests it might be either a polybag or the typical Make & Take set in LEGO stores. Unfortunately, LEGO is clearly mum on its release date.
Manage Your Expectations
While excitement is building for the idea of having a LEGO Fortnite theme, it’s realistic to exercise caution and await LEGO’s official announcement. The video game industry is notorious for its ever-shifting plans, especially in the realm of Fortnite.
LEGO rumors have been swirling since early this year, but we shouldn’t leap to conclusions until LEGO and Epic Games provide official confirmation.
LEGO’s Ever-Growing, Video Game-Inspired Sets
In recent years, LEGO has embarked on a mission to collaborate with some of the biggest names in the gaming industry, creating sets inspired by popular gaming franchises.
We’ve witnessed an array of sets featuring Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Minecraft, and more. Given Fortnite’s immense popularity, many have wondered why it took this long for the LEGO-Fortnite crossover to happen. Nevertheless, the anticipation is palpable.
Coordinating the release of physical toy sets with LEGO Fortnite content is a strategic move that fans of the game have been waiting for. While the quantity and nature of the sets remain a mystery, even a single LEGO Fortnite Llama polybag would definitely delight LEGO and Fortnite fans.
The Potential of LEGO Fortnite Content
Imagine the endless possibilities of an in-game LEGO crossover within Fortnite. LEGO video games, such as LEGO 2K Drive and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, have showcased innovative ways to integrate the building theme into gaming experiences.
With such creative potential at their disposal, the developers at Epic Games have the opportunity to craft something extraordinary. If LEGO content does indeed arrive in Fortnite, it promises to be a long-awaited treat for fans who have patiently bided their time.
While the LEGO-Fortnite crossover remains shrouded in secrecy, the hints and sneak peeks keep our hopes alive. Whether it’s a single Llama polybag or an entire universe of LEGO Fortnite sets, 2024 is shaping up to be a year of excitement and anticipation for gamers and collectors alike.

Here’s another piece of exciting news for LEGO fans worldwide. A LEGO Certified Store in Thailand has recently unveiled two exclusive LEGO October GWP (Gift-With-Purchase) sets for this year. These delightful additions are bound to send waves of excitement through the LEGO community, especially for fans of Pirates and Disney themes.
LEGO October GWP 2023 Promotional Sets
LEGO Creator Scary Pirate Island (40597)
The LEGO Thailand certified store has just released its LEGO Store Calendar for October. And with it comes the reveal of two exciting freebies. The LEGO Creator Scary Pirate Island (40597) is a pretty neat tie-in to the LEGO Icons El Dorado Fortress (10320), with plenty of spooky elements just in time for Halloween.
This LEGO October GWP promises to be a valuable addition to any LEGO collection that celebrates one of the most nostalgic LEGO themes around. It clocks in at 214 pieces featuring a pirate minifigure aboard a mini-raft, and a scary-looking island filled with treasures and Halloween-themed elements.
Key Features
Treasure Galore: Explore a rocky outcrop teeming with hidden treasures waiting to be discovered.
Outpost Adventure: Build a vibrant red and black outpost that adds character to your LEGO world.
Raft Exploration: Assemble a raft to transport your minifigures to and from the island, adding depth to your adventures.
This exciting LEGO October GWP set will be available for purchase between October 13 to 22 for 3,500 THB in Thailand, approximately $90 USD. While the minimum spending requirements for other regions remain unconfirmed, it is safe to assume they will align with this ballpark figure and share the same availability dates.
LEGO Disney Mini Steamboat Willie (40569)
For LEGO enthusiasts with a penchant for all things Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel, this next LEGO October GWP is a must-have addition to your collection. The charming LEGO Disney Mini Steamboat Willie (40569) set pays homage to the 1928 animated classic, Steamboat Willie, featuring a monochromatic brick-built boat and an adorable Mickey Mouse minifigure.
I love the fact that LEGO opted to release a chibi version of its larger cousin the LEGO Ideas Steamboat Willie (21317) in 2019. The set also features the exclusive vintage Mickey Mouse minifigure that is slightly different from the original one released in 2019 because of its black hat and slightly darker torso. If you missed out on grabbing this vintage Mickey Mouse minifigure back then, then now is the best time to add this to your collection.
Key Features
Classic Appeal: Relive the magic of Steamboat Willie with this delightful LEGO October GWP.
Black and White Aesthetic: Embrace the vintage charm of black and white bricks that capture the essence of the original cartoon.
Iconic Minifigure: Display a faithful recreation of the classic Mickey Mouse, reminiscent of his debut in the world of animation.
This exclusive LEGO October GWP 2023 set will be obtainable from October 23 to 31. However, it’s worth noting that it has a higher minimum spend of 5,000 THB (approximately $135 USD), and this offer is exclusively available to LEGO Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel sets.
And speaking about this GWP’s qualifying purchases, and if you’re looking forward to bagging this promotional, then you may want to consider some of the best LEGO sets under the abovementioned themes. You may want to include the LEGO Marvel Black Panther Bust (76215) which is now at 40% over at LEGO.com. There’s also the LEGO Star Wars Coruscant Gunship (75354) if you’re a Star Wars Clone Wars fan. And for Disney fans, the timeless LEGO Disney Castle (43222) is something that you don’t want to miss as well.
Global Availability of these LEGO October GWP 2023 Promotional Sets
While minimum spending requirements for regions outside of Thailand are yet to be confirmed, the release dates will be consistent worldwide. As these highly anticipated GWPs draw near, we can expect further details regarding these enticing free gifts to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
LEGO fans and collectors have much to look forward to this October with the introduction of these two remarkable GWP sets. Whether you’re embarking on a treasure hunt at the Scary Pirate Island or reliving the nostalgia of Mickey Mouse in Steamboat Willie, these LEGO sets surely deserve a spot in our collection.
Here’s another exciting reveal from LEGO. The US portal of LEGO.com has been updated to include another gift-with-purchase (GWP) purchase set in the form of the somewhat familiar LEGO Magic Maze 40596.
This ingenious set features a brick-built puzzle game that challenges you to guide a marble through a labyrinth of obstacles. Picture a scaled-down version of the 2016 hit, LEGO Ideas Maze 21305 and you’ll have an idea of how much charm and playability this set offers.
Exploring the LEGO Magic Maze 40596
Unveiling the Different Features of the LEGO Magic Maze GWP
Included in this captivating 332-piece set is a vibrant spectrum of colors of different biomes. Each offers a unique twist within the mini brick-built maze: from the depths of the ocean with a whale, to arid deserts, and bustling bee hives.
As you maneuver the fully constructed maze, you’ll encounter buildable characters such as a ladybug and a sheep, adding an extra layer of excitement to the LEGO Magic Maze 40596.
Availability and Retail Value
While the LEGO.com listing currently displays an approximate retail value of $29.99 for the LEGO Magic Maze 40596, it’s important to note that this gem will be available as a gift-with-purchase.
The specific minimum purchase requirement is set for $150 and more of any LEGO product or merchandise that you will purchase at any time from October 1 to 9, 2023, or until supplies last.
Innovative Design
The LEGO Magic Maze 40596 boasts domed elements on its sides, providing convenient grips for easy handling during gameplay. When not in use, the set features a shell-like space for the brick-built marbles to rest, ensuring both functionality and aesthetics.
