This new Collectible Minifigure Series offers 12 new characters mainly inspired by Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe. The LEGO Marvel Studios Minifigures Series 2 is a must-have if you’re keeping tabs on all the LEGO minifigures released in honor of the MCU.
September 1st marks the release of the LEGO Marvel Studios Minifigures Series 2 as these sought-after minifigures grace the scene. While LEGO seems to stick with its usual CMF at $4.99, this series arrives with a touch of novelty – a new cardboard packaging. Though I admire LEGO’s determination to reduce its plastics, I have to say that I am not a fan of this new packaging. And if this is how LEGO intends to package its future CMFs moving forward, then I guess we’ll have to say goodbye to our feel-your-way days at our local LEGO Stores. There’s literally no telling what you’ll get. Unless LEGO gives us a hint, particularly on how they are placed inside larger boxes.
