UPDATED: The LEGO March 2023 sets are now available at LEGO.com! You can now purchase these sets directly at LEGO’s online shopping portal with the option of visiting a LEGO brand store near you. I’ve included in this list other LEGO March 2023 releases that I’ve posted before so you can have an overview of everything that LEGO has released for this month.
Since most of them point to affiliate links, it will be a big help for us if you will make your LEGO purchases using these. Which set or sets will be a Day 1 purchase for you? Let’s talk about it in the comments below.
[Original Post] We’re just counting the days before the next wave of LEGO March 2023 sets are released. And in case you missed my previous posts, here’s a rundown of the latest sets that you can expect once the clock strikes midnight on March 1, 2023.
Ranging from homegrown sets such as those coming from LEGO Creator, City, and Ideas themes to licensed IPs such as Disney, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and more, there’s definitely something that will catch your fancy. Check out the following list of LEGO March 2023 sets, and be sure to add them to your LEGO wishlist for notifications of their availability. These are affiliate links by they way, so any purchase that you will make using these links will be a go a long way in keeping up our blog site.
German retailer JB Spielwaren has updated their home shopping portal once more to now include several new LEGO March 2023 polybags, slated to arrive first thing next month. This range of new polybag offerings covers themes such as Harry Potter, Speed Champions, and Creator themes, and will be available for approximately $3.99 each.
LEGO March 2023 Polybags to Watch Out For!
If you recall, the new LEGO Creator polybags included in this upcoming March release were already revealed earlier this January, with the exception of the Quidditch Practice and McLaren Solus GT.
Though the release date mentioned on these polybags are from an overseas retailer, we can safely assume that these new LEGO March 2023 polybags will also be released in the US alongside other LEGO March offerings. LEGO.com’s building instructions page has been updated to now include listings of these upcoming polybags, though the actual building instructions are still to be published.
In the meantime, let’s take a look at these polybags up close and personal. For more information about these miniature collectibles, you may click on their respective links.
A couple of days ago, we saw the official images of the first LEGO DOTS set that tie-ins with the Harry Potter franchise. And today, we get to see the full range of LEGO DOTS Harry Potter sets comprising two additional sets that give the Wizarding World of Harry Potter a beautiful, wearable LEGO twist.
And though that it is unfortunate that the LEGO DOTS theme is about to come to an end, its is still nice to see that this theme is getting several licensed sets for LEGO Harry Potter fans to enjoy. I’m not sure if there are more LEGO DOTS sets to be revealed anytime soon before its final curtain call, but I’ll keep you posted once more information comes in.
For the meantime, let’s take a look at these LEGO DOTS Harry Potter official set images and see what we can expect from them.
Hogwarts Accessories Pack (41808)
234 pieces | US$14.99
Hedwig Pencil Holder (41809)
518 pieces | US$19.99
Hogwarts Desktop Kit (41811)
856 pieces | $44.99
As of this posting, we are waiting for these sets to be listed at LEGO.com. But since their official images were released already in the wild, we can expect their offical reveal at LEGO’s home shopping portal anytime soon.
Though the LEGO DOTS theme is, unfortunately, ending, there are still some things to look forward to for the fans of the theme. As revealed earlier, we can expect a new set that tie-ins with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – the first now being the LEGO DOTS Hedwig Pencil Holder (41809).
The reveal came by way of another LEGO building instructions entry at LEGO’s customer service portal. Details are scant as of now since this latest LEGO DOTS Hedwig set is not yet accessible via LEGO.com. But from the looks of it, we have the iconic white owl rendered in bricks and pieces, given with a functional look.
This set is expected to clock in at 518 pieces and will retail for around 19 Euros or $20. It s also expected to be one of the three LEGO DOTS that is dedicated to the Harry Potter licensed theme. And given that it has already made an appearance via LEGO’s website it may suggest that an official reveal might soon be on the way.
I’ll update this post once more info comes in. Thanks to Hoth Bricks for the heads-up.
We’re just counting the days before the first wave of LEGO 2023 sets is out. And in case you haven’t finalized your LEGO 2023 wishlist, then you may want to hear what the LEGO fan community has to say. Because thanks to Brickset’s one of many interesting features, you can somehow gauge the sentiment of other equally excited LEGO fan builders and get to see what are the most wanted LEGO sets of 2023 according to Brickset members.
If you wish to know what sets to prioritize this January, then read on and take a look at the top 15 most wanted LEGO sets for 2023. Bear in mind that this is the most accurate data as of this posting, and there will be slight changes as we wrap up this year. However, I believe that these changes may not be that significant to change the ranking of these sets.
Check out these most popular LEGO 2023 sets starting at 1st place and in descending order of likes or being the most wanted.
Frankly speaking, this is a cool mix of sets that shows how diverse the interests of our LEGO fan community are. Love them or hate them (I know most of us find it difficult to appreciate that Morbius film, but hey, we still get to see our first minifigure of our vampire superhero probably because of that), these sets are quite attractive not just because of the themes that they represent but also the new parts and elements that they introduce. This is particularly true, especially in the case of LEGO City sets 60384 and 60394 where we get to see a new minifigure costume and otter element. Additionally, in the case of licensed LEGO themes such as Star Wars, LSW fans are certainly hyped for the much-awaited 501st Clone Trooper minifigures (75345) and a new and aptly sized TIE Bomber (75347).
And since a large chunk of LEGO’s market is geared towards the AFOL community, it is somewhat expected to see the first modular set of 2023 make it at the top of this list. The LEGO Icons Jazz Club (10312) is the king of the hill for the majority of Brickset members even if it means shelling out $230 for this 2,800-piece set.
In the final analysis, consider this list as a guide to knowing what is hot and not for 2023 among LEGO fans. But in the end, you decide on which among these most wanted LEGO sets will it to your final “add-to-cart” list. So what do you think? Are there other LEGO 2023 sets that you want to see in this top 15 list? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
In case you missed it, LEGO.com has officially revealed its first wave of LEGO Harry Potter 2023 sets scheduled to be released on March 1, 2023 – two of which are a long time coming. It’s great to see that we will have an official LEGO set that depicts the Fiendfyre escape scene from Deathly Hallows Part 2. And after 18 years, we are seeing the return of the Merpeople in minifigure form, as we saw them from the Goblet of Fire.
On top of these, we are also getting 4 sets that put the spotlight on the activities in the individual quarters of the four houses of Hogwarts. LEGO even added a bit of magic to its design by adding a lenticular feature on each of the set’s backboards giving it a 3D-like illusion of the windows and paintings. And on top of these, we’re getting plenty of new Harry Potter minifigures as well.
Read on for more details about these first offerings of LEGO Harry Potter 2023 sets, and don’t forget to mark your calendars on March 1st.

With September 2022 rolling in this past Thursday, another wave of new sets from LEGO have been launched. Fitting for ushering in the last few months before the Holiday season, several advent calendars became available September 1. According to further details from Brickset, LEGO Marvel also debuted multiple entries this time with more buildable figure sets. The big guns among the new releases would be the newest LEGO Ideas set and Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Express (76405). On the tinier end, LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 23 became available as well. We can be sure the Holiday-themed products will only increase as 2022 winds down. But for now, let’s summarize the launches:
