The month of May is still not over and it looks like the latest LEGO CMF series is having a huge following already. So much so that stocks for the LEGO Muppets Minifigures have proven to be quite elusive, even over at LEGO.com.
As you may already know, this latest series of Collectible Minifigures from LEGO pays tribute to Jim Henson’s Muppet Show, with 12 characters from the hit 70s TV show finally given the LEGO CMF treatment. Those who grew up in the late 70s and 80s surely understand the nostalgic value that these characters have, and is a great way to celebrate the life and legacy of their creator, Jim Henson. And coupled with another similarly inspired set in the form of the LEGO Ideas 123 Sesame Street, these collectibles certainly bring back fond childhood memories.

Hey, it’s the first day of the month once again. March 1, 2022. By this point the New Year must no longer feel so new. Before we go off track however, we’ll get right down to what this update is about: first-day LEGO product launches. We certainly enjoyed covering these sets when they first officially came out. And like before, for your easy reference we’re collecting their LEGO.com product listings together here. Our big thanks again to The Brick Fan for any March 1-releasing LEGO product we may have missed. Also linked are our past articles, if we caught them.
Last month, LEGO has started rolling out its summer 2021 sets over its online shopping portal. And this time around, LEGO servers have been updated once again to now include more LEGO Disney summer 2021 sets all scheduled to be available for purchase starting August 1st.
These additional LEGO Disney summer 2021 sets take their cue from some of the most iconic Disney animated films including Frozen, Rapunzel, and Beauty & the Beast. What most LEGO collectors may find interesting is the introduction of micro-characters as part of LEGO Disney’s Storybook Adventures subtheme. These micro-characters (somewhat like miniaturized versions of the LEGO mini-doll) are the first of their kind in this theme.
If you wish to find out more about these sets, just head over to LEGO Shop@Home by clicking the following links below.
Our brick-minded friends from Promobricks managed to round up several, crisp images of what I am personally looking forward to as a LEGO collector. And thankfully, we now have an idea of what we can expect for next year’s collection of LEGO 2021 polybags.
From the looks of it, it seems that each particular LEGO theme will once offer a new polybag – from home-grown themes to licensed ones, each of these LEGO 2021 polybags offers a mini-scale version of a particular set in its upcoming subtheme (like in the case of the new LEGO Ninjagoand DOTS series) or expands your collection of useful LEGO pieces. Such is the case for the LEGO City Pop-Up Store (30569), considering the printed tile pieces that go with it.
They’re not usually listed over at LEGO Shop@Home, though you can find them in your local LEGO brand store and other third-party retailers as well. Expect these polys to be around starting January and throughout the first quarter of 2021, retailing for $4.99. Which one of these will you pick up? Let us know in the comments below.

Following wave, after wave of LEGO sets revealed during the past couple of days, LEGO makes sure that there is also something in store for our budding builders. LEGO servers were updated once more to include several images of LEGO Duplo 2020 sets, all slated to be released on January 1st of the next year.
These LEGO Duplo 2020 sets are a good mix of both generic and licensed themes which include characters from Disney franchises such as Marvel and Frozen 2. I also like how LEGO offers a varied number of sets based on real-world settings akin to LEGO City. It’s also nice to see a modular type of set included in this offering that offers a bit more challenge to younger builders.
You can check out these images of what to expect from these sets, together with their piece count and expected price in Euros courtest of Promobricks.
New LEGO Disney sets were also revealed by third-party retailers that introduces a new collection of minidolls that are quite different from what LEGO has released before. These notable ‘microdolls’ are included in LEGO’s new line of LEGO Disney Princess Storybook collection alongside other newsets that will arrive in January next year. These new offerings include one 4+ set and five regular sets intended for kids 5 years and above.
Similar to the LEGO Ideas Pop-Up Book (21315), these new LEGO Disney Princess Storybook sets features buildable scenes from some of the Disney classic films that can be neatly tucked in or folded like a typical book. And perhaps to make this play feature possible, LEGO opted to modify its current version of existing minidolls and give it a new twist. These ‘microdolls’ are obviously shorter in height and come with larger eye prints.
Read on and check out for more images of these new LEGO Disney Princess Storybook sets, together with other regular sets that will be released come January 1st. I’ve also included their expected retail price in Euros and will update this post once more info comes in.
After giving us a peek at things to come during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Swiss online toy retailer Meinspielzeug has listed what seems to be our first batch of upcoming LEGO Star Wars 2020 sets. Images are still missing of course since its understandable that they may still be under an embargo. However, since we’re just essentially a couple of months away before their January 2020 release, some retailers are now gradually updating their databases.
If you also recall back in August, there was a rumor going around that LEGO might be releasing another set similar to that of the LEGO Star Wars busts that were initially offered as exclusives. As it seems, builds that follow the genre of such sets like the LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Bust (75227) which was released as a Target 2019 Star Wars Celebration exclusive, and the LEGO Star Wars Sith Trooper Bust (77901) exclusively offered to SDCC 2019 attendees, will now be offered mainstream. Meinspielzeug has now confirmed this, together with a handful of other upcoming LEGO Star Wars sets that you might want to keep tabs with and save on for your post-Christmas LEGO purchases.
Here are some of the listings for these LEGO Star Wars 2020 sets as confirmed on Meinspielzeug’s website. As of now, only the set’s piece count and retail price (in Swiss Francs) are posted, but I guess this will suffice in giving us an early impression of how these sets will measure up.
What I also find interesting is the fact that both the Stormtrooper and Boba Fett Busts seem to have almost twice the number of pieces as compared to its predecessors, giving the impression that they are considerably larger.
Other interesting sets that I’m looking forward to is the Mandalorian Battle Pack and that TIE Dagger. Both are new sets under the LEGO Star Wars theme considering that the former is a direct tie-in under the Disney+ Mandalorian series (which is about to launch in a few hours), while the latter is a new Star Wars vehicle that we will see in the big screen when Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker debuts next month.
So what do you think of this list of new LEGO Star Wars 2020 sets? Which of them are you looking forward to? Comment down below to share your thoughts.
As you may have known already, the LEGO Disney Frozen 2 sets are currently available at LEGO Shop@Home alongside the release of the new LEGO Star Wars merchandise for Triple Force Friday. If you’re a LEGO Disney fan, then you’ll be glad to know that LEGO has thrown in a new gift-with-purchase (GWP) set for qualifying purchases of these new LEGO Disney sets. LEGO’s online store has added to its image cache the LEGO Disney Frozen 2 Olaf’s Traveling Sleigh (40361) which you can find below.
For those familiar with this LEGO Disney subtheme, the first thing that is noticeable about this GWP set is the inclusion of the newer minidoll version of Olaf that only comes in two particular LEGO Disney Frozen 2 sets: Enchanted Tree House (41164) and Anna’s Canoe Expedition (41165). So if you’re a fan of the comical snowman, then having this freebie added to your cart is a great incentive to get this new LEGO Disney sets.
Olaf’s Traveling Sleigh (40361) comes in at 97 pieces and also includes a mini sleigh, a small buildable Christmas tree and gift, lamp, and a storage box to place Olaf’s skiing accessories. I don’t see it yet on my shopping cart via LEGO Shop@Home, but since the set’s images have already been added to the online store’s database, then I guess it will just be a matter of time before you see this freebie listed. For now, you may want to delay your purchases a bit if you wish to get this free gift. Word on brick street has it that this free gift will be available from October 7 to 31 or until supplies last so I’ll keep a close eye on this one.
UPDATE: This promo is now currently live at LEGO Shop@Home, confirming our earlier announcement of its availability. You’ll get the Olaf’s Traveling Sleigh (40361) set for qualifying LEGO Disney Frozen purchases worth $50 and above starting today, October 7, until October 20 or when supplies last.
Alongside the release of the latest LEGO Star Wars sets in line with Triple Force Friday, LEGO and Disney also introduce the latest wave of LEGO Disney Frozen 2 sets that celebrates the return of Elsa and Anna in the big screen. This particular LEGO Disney subtheme features a collection of regular and 4+ sets that features new and memorable Disney characters based on the upcoming animated sequel. So if you don’t mind some minor spoilers about Disney’s Frozen 2 slated to be released in theaters next month, then read on.
