LEGO Disney Magical Treehouse (43215) Coming in June!

It looks like we can expect more LEGO Disney sets along the way as we count down the months before the titular House of Mouse celebrates its 100th year anniversary. Other than a lovely collection of LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures and LEGO Disney 100 sets, it looks like LEGO is now putting the spotlight on its renowned Disney Princesses. Arriving in June, the upcoming LEGO Disney Magical Treehouse (43215) set is expected to be a hit to all LEGO Disney minidoll collectors.

lego disney magical treehouse

Though LEGO is still quite mum about it, South Korea’s search platform and online store Naver, has already listed this LEGO Disney Magical Treehouse set. And what perhaps makes this set stand out is the fact that it is jam-packed with 13 minidolls of all the Disney Princess to date. As far as I recall, there is no other LEGO set that contains as much as minidolls in one go. Coming in at 1,016 pieces, you’ll get to bring home the LEGO mini-doll versions of Elsa, Anna, Alice in Wonderland, Belle, Wendy, Tinkerbell, Mirabel, Moana, Mulan, Pocahontas, Raya, Tiana, and Jasmine.

The LEGO Disney Magical Treehouse (43215) set is yet to appear at US LEGO.com. But my guess is that LEGO’s home shopping portal will be updated any time soon, especially since this latest offering will be part of LEGO’s product line-up for the month of June. Once listed, it is expected to retail for around $150. In the meantime, check out some of these images and take a look. Please take note that the product description mentioned here is from a raw Google translation from Korean, so pardon me if this is not quite perfect. I’ll update this post once additional information comes in.

Here’s a Sneak Peak at the LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 3 (71038)

Fellow LEGO fan site and insider Promobricks have just gotten a hold of what seems to be an early copy of the package insert (checklist) of the LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 3 (71038). This latest CMF Series is the third of a long line of collectible minifigure series that LEGO partnered with the House of Mouse since the series debuted back in 2016.

An Exciting and Fun New Series: The LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 3!

If you remember earlier this January, it was reported that this latest LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 3 series will include not just 12, but a whopping 18 new Disney characters given the LEGO minifigure treatment. This collection of new minifigs is all brand new and has never been seen before in any LEGO set in any variants whatsoever.

And just in time with Disney’s 100th-year celebration, this upcoming LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 3 craze will launch this May, alongside other LEGO Disney sets that mark the occasion. Thanks to Promobricks, we can now have an early look at what we can expect from this series. Take a look at the series’ package insert below.

Right off the bat, this newer version of Stitch is a must-have for me, together with that Magician Mickey from Fantasia. The inclusion of the gentle Baymax is really exciting and a very much welcomed addition to any LEGO Disney collection as well.

In case you need to know, here are the names of these new LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 3 characters.

Here’s What to Expect from this Upcoming LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 3!

Top Row (from left to right)

lego 71038 disney minifigures 01

  • Oswald the Funny Rabbit with new head mold, dual-molded legs and printed 1×2 tile (predecessor to 1927 Mickey Mouse)
  • Pinocchio with new head mold and printed fishbowl (Pinocchio, 1940)
  • Jiminy Cricket with Parasol (Pinocchio, 1940)
  • Magician Mickey with new head mold, with bucket and mop (Fantasia, 1940)
  • Princess Tiana with 2×3 printed tile, crown, and frog (The Princess and the Frog, 2009)
  • Dr. Facilier with printed 1×2 tile and walking stick (The Princess and the Frog, 2009)

Middle Row (from left to right)

lego 71038 disney minifigures 02

  • Queen of Hearts with wide skirt, crown, and scepter of hearts (Alice in Wonderland, 1951)
  • Princess Aurora with crown and owl (The Sleeping Beauty, 1959)
  • Mulan with sword and the cricket, Cri-Kee printed on what seems to be a 1×1 brick (Mulan, 1998)
  • Ernesto de la Cruz with guitar (Coco, 2017)
  • Miguel with guitar and dog Dante (Coco, 2017)
  • Pocahontas with 1×1 round tile with compass print and leaves (Pocahontas, 1995)

Bottom Row (from left to right)

lego 71038 disney minifigures 03

As pointed out by Promobricks, it’s interesting to note the absence of an official Snow White minifigure in this series given that we already have an Evil Queen. I wish LEGO could have included the two in this upcoming CMF series since a proper LEGO Snow White minifigure is been a long time coming. Or perhaps its reserved for a future set? LEGO Ideas perhaps (wink, wink)? 🙂

When Will the LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 3 (71038) be Released?

The LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 3 (71038) is expected to be launched in May of this year, so we can expect its marketing and promotions anytime soon this March. And with the expected high demand for these little guys, be aware that third-party resellers might already have them stashed in some warehouses out there. Be on the lookout and let us know if you happen to spot these anywhere in your vicinity.

Special thanks once again to Promobricks for sharing this update.

More LEGO BrickHeadz Disney Sets Coming This March

It looks like we can expect more Disney-inspired BrickHeadz sets anytime soon. Following the reveal of the LEGO BrickHeadz Disney 100th Celebration (40622) set earlier this month, LEGO.com has been updated revealing three more LEGO BrickHeadz Disney sets that will be available starting March 2023.

This next wave of LEGO BrickHeadz Disney sets takes inspiration from some of the most memorable characters that grew up with over the years. Right off the bat, I am very much excited to see my favorite Pixar robot Wall-E having another LEGO set dedicated to his name aside from his LEGO Ideas Wall-E (21303) back in 2015. I also love how Cruella De Vil and Maleficent turned out in their BrickHeadz form considering the relative complexity of their designs. The accessories that also come with these sets are pretty impressive as well. I appreciate the gesture of including several accessories like Merida’s bow and quiver, and Wall-E’s toolbox.

These LEGO BrickHeadz Disney sets are scheduled to be released on March 1, similar to the latest LEGO Technic and Star Wars Helmets as well. While waiting, you can add this LEGO BrickHeadz trio by checking out their respective affiliate links below.

From the Rumor Mill: LEGO 100 Years of Disney Collectible Minifigures (71038) May Include 18 Characters

Disney will mark its 100th anniversary this 2023 and LEGO is sharing in the festivities by launching several LEGO Disney tie-in sets. And this included the much-anticipated LEGO 100 Years of Disney Collectible Minifigures (71038).

banner lego disney 100

While the recently released LEGO CMF Series 24 (71037) still enjoys a lot of attention, LEGO fans and completionists are now setting their eyes on the next series expected to be released in May. And rumors have it that 18 unforgettable Disney characters will grace the upcoming LEGO 100 Years of Disney Collectible Minifigures. According to the Back 2 Brick podcast as reported by Promobricks, this upcoming series will feature the following Disney characters in their minifigure versions.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit (from classic Disney shorts)

Evil Queen with Magic Mirror (from Snow White, 1937)

This is a very impressive list if I may say since it’s not an easy feat to select which characters will get the LEGO minifigure treatment. Though I was hoping as well to see an official Snow White minifigure thrown in in this series, considering that LEGO has already released the classic Disney Princess’ Duplo and minidoll iterations.

The four-armed Stitch is number 1 on my list being a fan of Experiment 626 myself. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is probably next considering the influence of the iconic animated character on Disney’s later characters.

So what do you think of this rumored LEGO 100 Years of Disney Collectible Minifigures? Do you think there are other characters that should have been included? Let me know in the comments below.

With more information from the Brickfinder.

LEGO at SDCC’22: LEGO Avatar Sets Revealed

Twice the San Diego Comic-Con was cancelled by the juggernaut of the COVID pandemic. Thankfully, they tried to pull a “third time’s the charm” by holding a Special Edition event in late 2021. LEGO proudly includes itself among the many multimedia presenters there. Already we have word on the highly-anticipated tie-ins to James Cameron’s “Avatar” film franchise, with the sequel coming in December.

  • Collectible building set – Fun LEGO® BrickHeadz™ depictions of Jake Sully & his Avatar (40554)
  • A treat for any occasion – Give this set as a birthday, holiday or any-day gift for kids and Avatar movie fans aged 10+

Sure, the tie-ins seem to cover only the original 2009 film. But surely these are just the opening salvo for a longer-running LEGO Avatar line. Perhaps the direct tie-ins to “Avatar: The Way of Water” will be along later. For the moment, let’s look forward to these cool sets coming out this October 1st.
